Now, more than ever, Green Shoes is a radical shoemaking business. We make
footwear on a small scale, by hand, in our Devon workshop, using skills learnt
and passed on through decades. We endeavour to keep our environmental impact low
by making our footwear long-lasting and repairable. All footwear is handmade to
order in full and half sizes from UK 2- 12, in four different width fittings. We
make our high boots in three leg widths. We also have a stock of standard sized
shoes in our shop. We work from foot drawings that can be drawn by us in the
shop, or sent to us in the post. These are used to establish which size to make,
therefore the size you select online is only a guide for our shoemakers. As each
pair of shoes is made to order, please allow for making time.
