in the mix youth project

In the Mix Project is an organisation which grew out of the reduction in
statutory services in 2010. We established a Community Interest Company (CIC) in
2011, founding members previously living and working in the area, providing
statutory youth work services. We are now a registered charity having
transitioned in March 2015 from our originating structure. The organisation was
originally created safeguard youth work and to combat the reduction in services
and support communities and young people in the areas of the Somerset West and
Taunton, including rural provisions. We are a local organisation, based in
Somerset, now providing youth and community provision, targeted programmes,
workshops and positive activities to disadvantaged children and young adults
across the area and in neighbouring counties.
