Sharon Oliver has extensive strategic and operational knowledge of the School
Admissions & Appeals process, procedures and education administration in
general. For a number of years she worked as a policy, compliance, marketing and
funding advisor to a successful federation of 3 – 18 academies; setup and
managed their central admissions dept and successfully presented over 2000
appeals. Since becoming a consultant in 2015 she has supported a number of
schools with advice and guidance on school admission and appeals compliance,
clerks school appeals and presented at a number of conference events. She has a
pool of independent school admission appeal panellist which she has trained to
ensure that appeals are carried out within the statutory regulations. She is
also a Chair of Governors for a primary school and a member of the Croydon
School forum.
