DIRECTORS MESSAGE FOR ALL EUROPE AND NON-EUROPEAN CLIENTS The last two years
have been difficult for us all in many different ways. We have had to adapt to a
changing world with the Global pandemic of COVID -19 and all its variants and of
course for those on the European Continent, we have had to learn and adapt to
the changes brought about by BREXIT. The saga of Brexit for our European clients
has been a mixed bag, from quick and efficient to complex delivery issues. In
short both the EU and the UK governing bodies still have outstanding issues to
resolve and the import / export regulations appear to be ever-changing and
presenting us all with a less than clear picture of what the rules are supposed
to be. We are far from absolute clarity but it appears that an agreement reached
and due to roll-out in Jan 2022 should give clarity on all sides. The
COVID-Pandemic, has and continues to present staff shortages across global
industries and logistic and supply chains. Large repatriation of expatriate work
forces, a shift in working practices and a global shortage of workers in
essential import / export services has produced a series of complex issues
resulting in a slow down of financial and economic trade.
