This course is an infant, adolescent, and adult-certified course. First Aid/CPR/AED/Bleeding Control course certified. This is a group course designed for business staff training, churches, sporting venues, anywhere where CPR/First Aid/AED/Bleeding Control is required.

The course covers primary and some secondary skills allowing the flexibility to add extra subjects where needed.

First Aid - Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work One Day Course Cost:  £75 + vat per person SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- Responsibilities & Reporting Assessment of the situation Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Basic Hygiene in First-Aid CERTIFICATION Resuscitation & AED Awareness Anatomy Minor injuries Bleeding control Burns Choking Epilepsy Shock Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aiders who can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This accredited One-Day Qualification meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. Three Hour Course Cost:  £50 + vat per person Catastrophic Bleeding is an excellent course designed for First Aiders who are involved in high-risk working environments. This 3-hour course will provide learners with guidance on Catastrophic Bleeding control, including dealing with the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering First Aid in a high-risk working environment. Learners must hold a valid First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate in order to attend the course. SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered including:   Equipment Primary survey Catastrophic bleeding Haemostatic dressings Tourniquets Top-to-toe survey Environmental issues Handover to the emergency services Maximum of 16 People A maximum of 16 students can be accommodated on this course. Age limit learners must be a minimum of 16 years of age to attend the course. CERTIFICATION Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual throughout the course and issue a non-regulated Certificate of Achievement where the required level of attainment has been met.
