About Us Our College aims to help young people with SEND find their place in the community, be as independent as possible, find employment and lead healthy lives. Bridging run the ROC Gang Avon franchise, they provide a service to the college and wider community while developing wider skills. The students read, input and upload orders to the central portal with each member of the team having individual roles and responsibilities within the production line. Hummingbird Tuition was set up in 2000 by Anne Kitchin who is a qualified and experienced primary and SEN teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching in schools and working as a private tutor and educator. Our company specialises in working with children with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD and ASD. We use methods that make sense to these creative and very imaginative learners, using visual techniques to learn to read, since phonics does not generally work for them. Pupils learn to picture texts to make them easy to understand and to visualise spellings so they can remember them. We use similar techniques in maths, to make maths easy as well.

The Clifton Learning Partnership is a Company Limited by guarantee with no share capital (Company No. 7566749) and a Registered Charity (Charity registration No. 1142675). Both were incorporated in 2011. The Company and Charity has evolved from over twelve years of work with the Clifton Learning Community of schools initially as an Education Action Zone, with, in addition, a multi-disciplinary Behaviour Improvement Programme Team, which included roles such as Community Development Tutor, Family Learning Tutor, and Mental Health Practitioner. As the political climate changed in 2010 the key stakeholders at the time; the Head Teachers from the nine schools with whom the EAZ worked, requested that the prudently managed funds from the time of the EAZ be invested into the local community in the most sustainable way possible, in order to help and develop the local community to be stronger, more resilient and to have equality of opportunity. They recognised our ability to work with key agencies outside the education structures to provide additionality for families and children beyond the school gates. In 2011 the Clifton Learning Partnership charity was formed. We are intensely proud of our ability to change, grow and develop; responding to a rapidly changing political climate; and continuing to address the presenting need in a form that is most appropriate. We have always been innovative and taken opportunities. Our practice as an EAZ was celebrated nationally, and it was at this time that we developed our highly successful EAZMAG, which we now sell nationally, with all profits coming to Clifton Learning Partnership.

Craft Allotments CIC (Community Interest Company - Limited by Guarantee) is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We were founded in 2018 by Pamela Lloyd, PGCE, BA Hons (Lit), Hons Dip Fashion - an Adult and Community Tutor specialising in Creative/Life Writing, Oral History projects and Crafts. Pam had become frustrated by funding cuts, lack of fulfilling work for people over 50 and the rise in the pension age - along with an ever increasing rise in social isolation and poverty in the Barnsley area. However, inspired by witnessing the creative abilities and potential of the people she worked with, Pam set out to establish a 'Creative Community of Practice' where people aged 50 and over would have an opportunity to rediscover their creative talents and would be encouraged to share their skills in a variety of positive ways, including creating opportunities for fulfilling self-employment.
