Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is an acute Trust providing
healthcare and community services for more than 400,000 people across
Derbyshire. We employ more than 4,500 colleagues across Chesterfield Royal
Hospital, Primary Care and DSFS (Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services) and
we also have some fantastic volunteers supporting our services. In May 2020 we
received a Good overall rating from the CQC (Care Quality Commission) with
levels of outstanding practice seen in Urgent and Emergency care services,
Medical Care (including older people's care) and Surgery. In the latest Staff
Survey (2021), 73.7% of our workforce told us they are enthusiastic about their
job, and 69.7% of colleagues told us they recommend Chesterfield Royal Hospital
FT as a place to work – 11.3% higher than the national acute Trust median score.
