Facilitation Skills Training

The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) -Compacting qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Compacting within the construction industry. You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification. This qualification supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in these mandatory units: -Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace -Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in one of the following optional units: -Preparing and operating soil compactors to compact materials in the workplace -Preparing and operating landfill compactors to compact materials in the workplace -Preparing and operating ride-on rollers to compact materials in the workplace Entry Requirements There are no formal entry requirements to take this qualification. Your puppy training journey can begin before you even bring your puppy home. By ensuring you have the basics covered such as puppy crate training and puppy toilet training, you can start your journey off with your puppy in the best possible way.    Focusing on you and your puppy outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 puppy training session, can be really useful for you and your puppy. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a puppy a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situations such good puppy manners when guests come to our house. 1-2-1 puppy training sessions are typically 1 hour. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your puppy goals. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 puppy training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. Pre-arrival session= £30 (half hour) (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Who Should Attend This course is aimed at candidates that require the knowledge to enable them to comply with working at height regulations, and go in depth into industry dangers and respectability when working at height.  This course can be completed by both novice and experienced candidates. Course information Category N404 Safe Working At Height It is envisaged that by the end of this course of training the learner will be able to answer questions on and perform the following: ➢ Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities when working at height ➢ Be able to define height work and identify the hazards of work above ground level and outline the general requirements necessary to control them ➢ Be able to identify accident causation in work at height ➢ Have an appreciation of planning and organisation of work at height ➢ Set up exclusion zone explaining actions required for emergency actions, identifying any overhead hazards ➢ Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for safe working at height use ➢ Demonstrate working at height and explain all safety issues that could arise Assessment Assessment will be to NPORS standards consisting of a theory test.
