Hove
is an artist, scientist, and gender equality advocate living in Hove, UK. They
recently completed a DPhil in Molecular Biology of Health and Disease at the
University of Oxford where they then served as VP Women for the Oxford Student
Union. They now work in London in the charity sector. Their painting practice
evolved out of a need to unwind after leaving the lab for the day. As a relative
neophyte, their style is rapidly evolving. Broadly speaking, however, they are
interested in disrupted realism, using the traditional medium of oil paints to
explore the instability of the image in the digital age.
