best state comprehensive schools in the South West and nationally. Our
examination results are outstanding and the significant majority of our students
go on into our 6th Form and from there to university. KCC students are well
prepared for their futures and are successful in gaining places at the
universities of their first choice; these universities are also ranked among the
best in the United Kingdom, indeed internationally, including Oxbridge. We
ensure that our students are exceptionally well prepared to make choices about
their future, whether that is higher education, training or employment. We have
a strong commitment to developing the whole child and providing a wealth of
opportunities beyond the classroom. Our students regularly delight and amaze us
with their talents, achievements and successes across a wide range of
activities. We organise concerts, festivals, musical productions, plays,
competitions, shows, exhibitions and leadership programmes for students and each
year we reach national and regional finals in a range of sports and other
extra-curricular activities.
