Derby
Arboretum Primary School is located in the Normanton area of Derby. We are proud
to be part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust family of schools. We have 75
children per year group in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In FS2, we
have classes of 25 reception children. In KS1 and KS2 we have a combination of
single year group and mixed year group classes, with a class size of 30. In
addition we have a 32 place unit for two year olds and a 78 place nursery that
offers 15 hours per week to children who are three and four years old. The
school was originally opened in 1987, and was extended and completely
re-furbished from 2010-2012. A further large extension opened in 2014 to
accommodate the growing number of pupils.
