Do Talk Write are a part time, alternative provision in Nottinghamshire providing bespoke education to young people who are unable to attend mainstream schooling. Our approach is tailored to each individual child based on their needs and we provide differentiated sessions matched entirely to each child’s needs. We use a mindfulness approach incorporated into sessions and often use art and creativity to allow pupils to access the wider curriculum. Our provision is flexible in the subject teachers and experience we provide, and we can work 1:1 in the home, in school or a variety of other appropriate venues.

Laura is founder and principal of the Nottingham Ballet School. She is an experienced artist, teacher, director, mentor, and choreographer who trained on the BA (Hons) Ballet Education course at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London. Whilst training, Laura also obtained her Licentiate (LRAD), Associate (ARAD) and Registered Teachers Status (RAD RTS). She began dancing at the tender age of 3 years with Janina Gieralt in Nottingham. Here she was inspired by her teacher and from the age of 10, knew she wanted to be just like Miss Gieralt. Her teachers challenged and motivated Laura to pursue a long term career in Dance Education. Laura has worked in private, public and community dance sectors around London teaching Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, Creative dance and Pilates to people of all ages; with a passion to provide access to dance for all. She has also choreographed for many dance productions, both on film and on stage and has worked on live streamed shows, video and photography projects. She has collaborated with many filmmakers, photographers, choreographers and artists on multiple community funded and private projects. Laura is enthusiastic and encourages diversity and creativity in dance; she is a youth mentor working alongside LambethELEVATE, has taught and examined for the worlds first Muslim Ballet School (Grace & Poise) and taught and developed the Associate programme at Marble Hill Dance Studio, alongside dear colleague and mentor Abigail Cova. Laura has also mentored RAD undergraduate students on their teaching placements. Her pupils have gone on to gain places at the Royal Ballet School (White Lodge), Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, Central School of Ballet Associates, Ballet Boost, The BRIT School, Arts Ed., Performers College, Bird College and The Urdang Academy. Whilst studying at the RAD, Laura performed alongside Darcey Bussell, for the Queen and members of the Royal Family, in celebration of Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday. She was also a Soloist dancer with the Semaphore Ballet Company and later went on to be Director of the Company; here she managed, organised events, collaborated with dance artists, choreographed and taught undergraduate dancers studying at the RAD. Laura acknowledges the importance of continued professional development and is delighted to be a student on the MA (Hons) Education (Dance Teaching) at the Royal Academy of Dance. She is also a Founding Partner of The Dance Teacher LLP, a peripatetic dance education service which offers classes across the Midlands, London and Hampshire. With a wealth of experience and ever expanding knowledge of teaching Ballet, Laura looks forward to welcoming and educating the next generation of dancers at the Nottingham Ballet School.

Classical Guitar Academy is Derbyshire’s premier classical guitar studio, specialising in the retail of the world’s finest classical guitars. We also run a highly successful classical guitar school, with pupils coming to us from all over the UK both in person and remotely to enjoy our lessons, workshops and performance classes. Our History In the beginning… Classical Guitar Academy was founded in 2015 by Ed Peczek. A student of the classical guitar for many years, Ed has been dedicated to the classical guitar since 1997. His passion for the instrument defined his formative years, attending lessons at Stafford Classical Guitar Centre with Adrian Copley and Selina Madeley. This enthusiasm for the classical guitar continued throughout childhood and it was clear from then on that the instrument would be central to his future. Ed Peczek Despite officially being founded in 2015, the idea for the business was formed many years earlier while Ed was studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. As one of the UK’s leading music conservatoires, the provision of a superior programme of study was truly inspiring. However as a conservatoire, these classes were only available to students of the institution. Given that the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland only accepted two to three new students per academic year, the reach of this excellent programme seemed very limited. It was then, the idea for Classical Guitar Academy was born. The concept driving Classical Guitar Academy is the provision of a conservatoire standard programme of study to anyone and everyone who would like access to it. Classical Guitar Academy came into being during late Spring of 2015. Ed hired a room by the hour at the now defunct ‘Voicebox’ in Derby, teaching private lessons a couple days a week while juggling peripatetic work and other private lessons in Staffordshire. Despite some very long hours and a lot of driving between neighbouring counties, Classical Guitar Academy was starting to gain traction in Derbyshire. As CGA’s reputation grew, so did the business. By 2016, Classical Guitar Academy was in a strong enough position to support its own dedicated studio.
