Immerse Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training Provider. We love working in schools, nurseries and youth groups teaching young people how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. With sessions sessions from 1 hour tasters for every class in a school, to after school first aid clubs, Immerse Training are certain to design a programme that’s right for you, your budget and your children.   We currently deliver First Aid and Life-Saving skills across a variety of settings to groups of children and young people from 4 to 14 years old, when they are able to participate in accredited First Aid courses. All of our First Aid Training for Children courses are designed in collaboration with qualified childcare practitioners and child health clinicians. Our programmes can be tailored to meet any area of the curriculum from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 3. First Aid Training for Children is a great way to prepare young people for specific activities such as Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, babysitting and sports leadership. First Aid Courses For Young People Programmes and sessions for young people focusing on how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. Sessions are designed with age and national curriculum in mind, from 1 hour tasters to sessions for large groups, perfect as part of NCS and Duke of Edinburgh programmes. Our training for young people is fun, engaging and focuses on fundamental life saving skills.  All courses can be delivered at our training centre in Poole, Dorset or we can deliver on-site across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset, Hampshire and the South of England.

When there is a shooting, stabbing or bomb explosion the initial priority will be public safety. This can delay the time before the emergency services are able to reach the injured. Our 3 hour citizenAID course enables the general public to be effective in these situations before the emergency services are available to provide professional medical support. This course can be delivered on-site or at our training centre in Poole, Dorset. Qualification Information This qualification and learning outcomes are based on the blended recommendations of: European Resuscitation Council, Section 9. First Aid British Army, Battlefield Casualty Drills Course Content Following this course students will: Be able to use the citizenAID app/pocket guide in an emergency situation. Be able to provide immediate first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with severe external bleeding. Who should attend? This qualification is for all members of the public who wish to learn lifesaving skills and techniques in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident. Pre-requisites Students must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training. Assessment and Certifications Assessment of this course is continuous and will take place through knowledge and skills observations. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for three years. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training. You’ll use the whole range of paediatric first equipment, and will try out your newly learned techniques on my adult, child and baby mannequins. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. If you want me to focus on a specific area of paediatric first aid, that’s fine. Here’s what you’ll learn: Responsibilities and reporting requirements Assessing a medical situation How to perform CPR Resuscitation and using a defibrillator Treatment of an unconscious casualty, and the recovery position Choking Head injuries Seizures, including febrile convulsions Bleeding and shock Burns and scalds Fainting Anaphylaxis, and using an EpiPen Diabetes and asthma emergencies Foreign objects Eye injuries Sprains, strains and fractures Heat and cold Sickle cell anaemia and meningitis

This 3-day FAA Level 3 Award course offers a variety of first aid situations and teaches how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.

Our 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work course gives the participant the knowledge, skills and confidence to deal with with first aid incidents in the work environment.
