Having run my own lorry for Hire & Reward including continental for a while I have been where you are going to be…. In the real world. I've run my own lorry based buisness for a number of years and moved into Driver Training in 1985 when two people who worked for me needed a C+E licence (HGV class 1) and just could not find a t...raining provider who offered the right training at a realistic price. I trained up both of them successfully and the rest as they say is history. In 1985 I attended the RTITB (The only recognised body to Road Transport) and also did the re registration courses as and when they were due. Since then the DSA have started their voluntary registration which I joined when launched. In January 2008 I re-sat & again passed the LGV Instructors course for the third time running including the new Theory Test and the Hazard Perception. So I know from personal experience what you will be expected to do. I'm one of only a handful of instructors in the area who are fully qualified. Not many people realise that, unlike Car instructors, HGV trainers do not have to be qualified to teach you. In over 20 years of training I have built up a firm customer base with many companies having been with me since 1985. There are two agencies who take newly qualified lorry drivers from me on a regular basis. I believe that during training it is important to be on the road as much as possible. I don’t have any Classrooms or spend time in Cafés or parked in Lay-By’s. All my training is in the Cab, the majority of the time with the wheels moving and you at the controls. After all that’s what you are paying for!

Edward is committed to supporting people move towards wholeness and the role education can play in this process. Edward researches mindfulness, integral and transpersonal psychology and well-being as both a member and convenor of postgraduate research at the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing (University of Nottingham). An avid reader, he is particularly inspired by the writings of Adyashanti, Stanislav Grof, Bernardo Kastrup, Gabor Maté, Rupert Spira, Alan Watts and Ken Wilber. Edward has written numerous articles, book chapters and books on these topics himself. Edward has been rigorously trained, he received a First Class (Hons) Degree in Education and Art from the University of Exeter in 1998 and a PhD in Peace Education and Sociocultural Theory from the University of Birmingham in 2003. Edward is a qualified mindfulness teacher, trained by Patrizia Collard/Enter Mindfulness, a Life Coach and a SoulCollage® Facilitator. He has taken the core modules of the Grof Transpersonal Trainer (GTT) Programme, covering the paradigm of Holotropic Breathwork, The Power Within (Bodywork), Music & Transcendence and Spiritual Emergency. He has also taken elective modules in Jung, Alchemy & The Transformation of Consciousness, and Inner Ethics/Soul Collage. This training has been supplemented by further training from the TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) College and the College of Sound Healing . As part of ongoing quality assurance, Edward receives regular supervision in mindfulness, TRE® and Holotropic Breathwork®, actively researching all of these fields, attending regular conferences, courses and retreats to ensure his work and guidance is informed by deep inner experience and the latest research and good practice. Edward is also a member of the Association for Spiritual Integrity and follows their honour code of ethics and good practice for individuals. Edward has attended a Quaker meeting all of his adult life, adopting a contemplative and universal approach to spirituality. He has served as both a Clerk and Elder to his local. 'Clerkship' involves engaging contemplative approaches and discernment to make spiritually-informed group decisions. Edward continues to practise art, focusing on contemporary altars, shrines and portraiture drawing upon studies at the University of Exeter and the Slade School of Art, London. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, winning the prestigious Attenborough Prize in 2011. Edward accepts commissions and much of his work is available for sale. We are Life Education East Midlands and we were formed on the 1st April 2022 following the amalgamation of Life Education Nottinghamshire and Life Education Northamptonshire. From the 1st August 2022 Life Education East Midlands were delighted to be joined by Life Education Leicestershire. We are a specialist charity provider of high quality health, well-being and drug prevention education working with primary schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our aim is to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make choices that will help them to live healthier, happier lives. We are a delivery partner of Coram life Education, the UK’s leading health and drug education organisation. Bringing health and well-being to life, our regularly updated programmes, keeping in line with demand and trends, have been created by child development experts to be stimuli-rich and interactive. This is achieved through puppetry, role play, and film clips to capture children’s imaginations and develop critical thinking and risk management skills. Nottinghamshire also works alongside Nottingham City Council and Inspire Learning to deliver courses to parents and carers.

Founded in 2017 by Amjad Hussain and Kafeel Shafique. They have both worked in immigration, asylum and human rights law including working on cases involving those students affected by the 2014 TOEIC scandal, in which thousands of students had their visas curtailed and were unfortunately deported or forced to return to their country of origin. Many students had their livelihoods destroyed by this unfortunate incident and were left in an extremely unfortunate position meaning their educational development was either delayed or completely taken away from them and they could not financially afford to study again so quickly. We pride ourselves on ensuring our clients are happy and satisfied with not only our service but with their chosen institutions and courses. ISAB aims to do as much as we can in directing them the right way and hope that our assistance can ease their minds whilst they are making such a big decision in what will not only shape their future careers but also their life. I have been working as a professional fitness coach in and around Nottingham for many years. In that time I have taught within the community and worked with a wide variety of people to enhance their health, fitness and wellbeing. My background is sport and fitness based having achieved a BSc (hons) Sport Science and Administration Degree. Since graduating I have taken on many coaching roles within the fitness industry to help develop and inspire those around me. I have run FitKid sessions for children as well as RSA Exercise To Music Courses for aspiring teachers, worked as a lecturer in local colleges and of course run fitness classes ranging from Circuits and Body Pump to Yoga and Step. I bring this vast experience to my current classes along with a passion to help people be the best they can be and have fun along the way. I have encouraged many people as they start on their fitness journey and motivated them to continue on their chosen path. I love my job, it’s great fun, always interesting and so rewarding… and that’s what I want for my participants.
