Our vision is for a welcoming and accessible building in the heart of Buckfastleigh, with a shared culture which nurtures community, champions creativity, and inspires imagination. We are in the process of creating a new community hub in the old Buckfastleigh Methodist Church building, where we will curate a diverse programme of education, arts and wellness activities. We are also passionate about how connected communities can work together to create change and build a fairer, more sustainable future. As our programme evolves it will embrace this through in person and online workshops and events which will centre changemaking and community building.

Apart from our shop in Exeter we have mobile units that attend shows, horse races, point to point meetings and local livestock markets. We carry a good range of country clothing.
Powdermills Pottery is housed in granite buildings that were once part of a nineteenth century gunpowder factory. It is found in the very centre of Dartmoor National Park in Devon and is part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate. Powdermills is the home and workplace of potter, Joss Hibbs: her range of pottery is sold in The Shop. Cream teas are served in the courtyard in the Summer season, and Throwing Courses are run year-round. The old workshop has been rejuvenated by local charity Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony and now houses the Dartmoor Hill Pony Exhibition, explaining the history and importance of the 'wild' ponies on Dartmoor.
