Mind Maths Academy was born out of a parent who wanted to give their children every opportunity in the world to reach their fullest potential.Hi! My name is Isabella and I started Mind Maths Academy after having my two children. I wanted to give them an education which gave them the greatest opportunities in the world; one which nurtured their interests and brought forth their natural talents, and one which gave them the confidence to give anything – and everything – a try! I remembered my own time at school and even though I did well in all my subjects, I never felt comfortable with mathematics which then caused a domino effect: physics, chemistry, computing, all STEM subjects – everything with a maths element put me off and I ended up studying subjects for their lack of maths rather than through passion. Simply from my discomfort with maths, a WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY was closed down to me. And I wasn’t alone. Most of my friends felt the same way. I did not want the same for my children.

Welcome to Hands to Communicate We deliver accredited British Sign Language courses such as Entry level three, Level one and Level two. We also offer deaf awareness courses. We set up as a Community Interest Company in 2017 after the local authorities ceased the delivery of British Sign Language in adult education centres. We have delivered accredited BSL courses with still a 100% pass rate on all our entry level three courses and our level one courses, with a high rate of people continuing their learning and completing their level two BSL course with a 98% pass rate. We have developed specialist courses taylored to organisation / businesses needs and worked privately with nurseries and school to support the children in the setting and their families Our aim is to breakdown the communication barriers and make British Sign Language more accessible for adults and children. The more people learning BSL to overcome the language barrier between to deaf and hearing communities, the more understanding and connected our communities will become. Amaven was founded by PK Vaish and Sam Greenwood in 2013 with the help and guidance from an advisory board made up of experts from the exercise science, sport coaching and healthcare profession. Amaven started out as a platform to identify talented athletes in sports academies and schools, however the product changed when Sam and PK discovered that there was an unmet need, as primary school teachers were not equipped to teach children about healthy lifestyle choices, nor were they skilled enough to help children to develop the fundamental movement skills necessary for athletic ability. Amaven was created to meet this need, by upskilling teachers to deliver outstanding PE lessons and giving children the tools to learn athletic skills at home. We now have one of the largest libraries of exercise training videos and wellness content for all age groups, abilities and settings. We have also developed a unique system to deploy white label apps for organisations and practitioners in education, sports and wellness sectors using our extensive library of content. Our main markets are schools, sports clubs, coaching companies, wellness providers and physiotherapists. I have worked across Education & Social Care for approximately 10 years, during which time I have developed my own Knowledge & Experience to be able to create a range of detailed courses and packages, aimed to offer an in depth understanding into the World of SEND. Understanding the impact having a Child with complex needs can often be overlooked and difficult to relate to; their daily challenges have long standing effects on the Child, their parents and of course, any siblings. Sometimes as professionals, we underestimate our ability to make real, effective change in the life of these Children - to really understand the needs of the individual and be as inclusive as we can. You must enter all your qualifications from secondary education onwards – whether you have the result (even any that were ungraded) or you’re still awaiting exams and results. This helps unis and colleges to understand if you meet their entry requirements. However, sometimes a uni or college will make you an offer even if you don't meet the exact grades they're asking for. If you have any questions about entry requirements, speak to the uni/college before you apply. If you're waiting for results, these are the exam results we're able to process and forward on to unis and colleges. If any of your pending qualifications aren't on this list, you still need to add them to your application, but also remember you’ll need to send the results on to your chosen universities and colleges when you get them. If you studied at a uni or college but didn't finish the course, you still need to enter these details. Include the start and finish date, and state that you didn't receive any qualifications there. If you are currently studying for a qualification or awaiting results, it is important you make sure your referee adds your predicted grades to your application – some universities and colleges will not consider your application without them. It's really important you enter the right qualifications on your application – especially if you're taking a vocational qualification, such as a BTEC – as there are a number of different options to choose from in the application, depending on the size and type of qualification you're taking. If you're not sure which version of a qualification you're taking, talk to your school or college, or contact us for advice.

We are Barnardo’s Healthy Minds Wiltshire, run by Barnardo’s and funded by Wiltshire Council. Barnardo’s believes in early intervention, providing support for children and young people before they face more serious mental health issues. With the right support, young people can transform their lives . Growing up is a challenge for everyone, but for some it’s more difficult than others. We offer practical and emotional support so that young people can enter adulthood with the confidence they need to achieve their full potential. We run many services across the UK, supporting young people’s emotional health and wellbeing, from one-to-one counselling to group work and schools-based programmes. This website has lots of information, practical tips and advice about supporting children and young people’s emotional wellbeing. We are here to help young people aged 5-18 registered with a GP in Wiltshire who are experiencing a range of early mental health difficulties through group work, activities in the community and counselling sessions for those young people who need more intensive support. We are also an all year round service and so our support does not stop in school holidays. We welcome referrals from young people, parents, carers and professionals. Tim will drive strategy, coordination, integration, and effectiveness of MENTOR’s teams focused in the areas of training and technical assistance; product design, development and ongoing usage; field research and evaluation; strategic partnerships and systems innovation; and Affiliate partnership, support, effectiveness, sustainability, and expansion. MENTOR CEO David Shapiro says, “We are so fortunate Tim is bringing his decades of experience as an advocate for youth, an innovator, a communicator, and local leader in one of the nation’s oldest and most expansive youth development organizations to our team and the mentoring movement. His personal and professional journey, commitment to supporting others’ development, community building talent, and deep commitment to young people will be such key drivers in our expanded and dynamic efforts to ensure all young people have the relationships they need to strive and thrive.” A native of Ferguson, Mo., Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. As a college student, he developed his passion for youth by covering human interest stories as on-air talent for his college television and radio stations which led to a 17-year career in youth development, including at the Boys & Girls Clubs in Chicago, the District of Columbia, and Harford County, Md. In 2016, because of his extensive experience in organizational transformation and increasing club membership, quality improvement, innovative programming and funding, Tim was named the CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama. In this role over the last six years, Tim led twelve year-round sites, three summer only programs, a 150-acre campground, and POINTE Academy, a school for detained and adjudicated youth. He’s received several honors and awards, including Boys & Girls Clubs Professional of the Year for his leadership, Mobile Bay 40 Under 40, and Benjamin Mays Excellence in Mentoring Award. Tim is an active member of the Lion’s Club and a member of the board of directors for Voices for Alabama’s Children and Linking All So Others Succeed (LASOS) in Maryland. He’s completed executive-level training in leadership, non-profit management, and advanced philanthropy from Harvard Business School, Stanford University, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. For 12 years, Tim has been a single foster parent and has fostered 20 children. He also has spent significant time teaching in VolunTourism trips to Haiti. “I’m thrilled to join the MENTOR community to continue the work of elevating the voices of young people across our country,” said Tim. “This new role will further deepen our ability to impact systematic change in order to open doors of opportunity and to close the mentoring gap. I am excited to get started working with our team, board, and stakeholders to continue strengthening and expanding the mentoring movement.” The role of Chief Impact Officer provides a critical new link and integration between so many of MENTOR’s core functions, key stakeholders, valued partners, and Affiliate network which provides local delivery, leadership, and innovations in service to the youth mentoring field nationwide.
