The 100th BOOBS Approved venue is a new cafe-bar in Swinton, Salford. Hadfields cafe became BOOBS Approved after opening just weeks ago.Be Open on Breastfeeding Salford (B.O.O.B.S) and our sister project BOOBS in Bury are open community groups set up to empower women to be open about their breastfeeding experiences and inspire others to breastfeed for longer. We believe every mum should have the chance to have a happy, safe and comfortable breastfeeding journey. BOOBS is part of our parent social enterprise Visit from the Stork CIC and was first set up in 2014 by CEO Kimberly Bond. The project is led by Rachel Parkinson (Project Manager), Kerry Purle (Administrator and Peer support lead) and our team of amazing volunteers. Meet our team here. We support mums by; Offering online and face-to-face breastfeeding support across Salford and Bury, Running monthly social and educational Breastfeeding cafe events at our BOOBS Approved venues in Salford and Bury Holding antenatal ‘A BOOBS introduction to Breastfeeding’ sessions for mums-to-be, currently in Prestwich but open to all mums. Pram walks and small meetups in Radcliffe, Bury Campaigning for mums to be supported in the community through our BOOBS Approved campaign. About Be The Change Be The Change is an award winning youth organisation based in Bolton. Our name reflects our commitment to developing young people who are a positive force in their community, and bringing people together who represent Bolton in all its diversity. We started out delivering weekly football sessions, and our work has expanded to include a range of sports and arts programmes, knife crime prevention workshops and mentoring activity. The Nile Language School

The idea of The Nile Language School came from Egyptian families hoping to teach their children the Arabic language the same way as we learn in our home countries with the integration of English culture and language. Our children are deprived of the ability to learn the Arabic language once a week for two hours which is not enough for them to become fluent in the language. Additionally, parents at home may not have time to practise the language with their children; the lack of experience can lead to children feeling unmotivated to learn Arabic. We are planning to take the students on an educational trip in the near future to consolidate their knowledge by completing different activities; visiting museums to link English and Arabic culture together. Due to the pandemic we was able to provide lessons online due to the inability to conduct face-to-face lessons. This received many positive comments we will continue to give the option of online lesson whilst also providing the option of face-to-face lessons. This means students from all around the UK can join classes. We are based in Manchester but our school teach students from all different in the UK and outside of the UK. We provide lessons begging from Reception to A-level as we are a qualified centre to give GCSE and A-Level qualifications. We also teach Arabic for non-native speakers. We teach the Egyptian syllabus and welcome all backgrounds to join our school.

Learners are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities across and beyond the curriculum, contributing fully to the life of the college and their communities. Learners have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and understand how they are developing personally and socially, tackling many of the spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing into adulthood. Within Valley College, learners are able to develop new skills and access the community, and sessions are focused on preparing learners for adult life. Valley College ensures all learners leave with relevant qualifications (if appropriate) and gain their desired aspiration destination. We work together with our learners to increase their independence, so they can take more control over their lives. Hi, I'm Bec and welcome to Voyage MCR. A place where we can work together to provide you with the tools and confidence to take on life's journey. Since I can remember, I have always had a passion for helping and supporting others. This passion, along with my strong interest in both the conscious and subconscious mind, mental health, and psychology, have led to my journey as a mindset and wellbeing coach. I was once told, 'find passion, find purpose' so that is what I have done. I was an eager psychology student with a dream of becoming a clinical psychologist. I completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and went on to complete a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology. In between both degree's, I completed a mental health placement in Sri Lanka, went travelling around parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and worked and lived abroad. However, as time went on and as my mind opened due to all of these experiences, I realised the 'dream' of becoming a clinical psychologist, was in fact never my dream at all. Although I gained valuable experience within clinical, my true passion has always been positive psychology, which teaches us the power of shifting one's perspective. This realisation led me to complete a practitioner and master practitioner course in NLP and hypnotherapy and find my purpose as a coach. My goal now is to help others let go of their limiting beliefs, transform their mindset, build confidence and resilience, improve mental wellbeing and give people the tools to lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
