The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification will teach you how to deal with emergency situations, administer general first aid treatment and is designed for people who wish to be appointed as a designated first aider in the workplace. The course is ideal for those that are required to hold a first aid qualification but don’t require the more comprehensive First Aid at Work qualification, and covers all the main workplace first aid situations you may need to deal with, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, bleeding and wounds, along with other minor injuries.

Understand how to administer emergency first aid to an infant and a child with an acute medical condition or sudden illness. Assessment and Certifications Assessment of this course is continuous and also includes 2 theory/multiple choice question papers. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for three years. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training. The one day National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Proficiency Award will re-qualify the learner with the knowledge and skills required in order to provide professional patrolling and water services, in surf conditions, with rescue skills and advanced fitness requirements.
