We are A community of people, collectively focussed on improving the lives of children and young people with Special Educational needs and Disabilities across Greater Manchester. We want Our children and young people to have a good life. Together we are teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, social workers, parents, young people, community leaders, voluntary groups, health professionals and much more... We will Work in partnership with all people who aim for our children and young people to be the best they can be. We will focus most on communities who are hardest hit by inequalities.

What we do. We at regen.me.uk, deliver free training courses for parent carers, and young people to empower and inspire them for the benefit of themselves and the community they live in Find out more regen.me.uk will provide support and work in partnership with statutory and community services. When you have been on one of regen.me.uk courses you are invited to join our online peer-to-peer group. Our mission is to teach skills, and provide peer-to-peer support to young people and Parent carers of children/young people who have special educational needs and disabilities or social, emotional and mental health needs. The benefits of our company are not just in academic achievements but in mental well-being, building resilience, reducing social isolation, aspiring for and achieving more positive outcomes, confidence, and opportunities.

The One Community Trust (OCT) was created in September 2019 and currently consists of 4 primary schools, plus 5 Local Authority Designated Provisions sited at two of our schools. All schools received their Academy Orders on the same date and all converted on the same date. The Trust is a limited company by guarantee and is registered in England. The main purpose of the Trust is to be a place where schools (convertor or sponsor) can work collaboratively to be the best they can be. To support the well-being and development of staff so that they constantly perform to a high level and retention remains high. All schools are currently judged Good by Ofsted and we want to maintain our good judgements and ultimately strive for outstanding status. We are also passionate about enabling the sharing of best practice and achieving the economies of scale across the group of schools’ ensuring the very best value for money. The aim is for all schools in the Trust to be successful, self-governing schools providing the very best education for the children in its care. Much of the work in the first year will be focused on embedding systems and processes in order to have the solid foundations upon which we can take the next steps in our growth.

Established in July 2018, we are breathing new life into this local treasure. Plans are afoot to refurbish the shop, catalogue the stock and become involved in the literary life of our community. We post a regular podcast, In the Bookshop, discussing, of course, books, and you can listen to it from this site or your favourite podcast provider.
