Overview This one day Accident Investigation course will give participants the necessary information and skills to enable them to carry out a thorough and effective accident investigation. Description This course will provide attendees with the necessary information and skills, to reach the right conclusions, make effective, practical recommendations and thereby make a significant contribution to improving workplace health and safety. Topics covered: Accidents & Accident Causation – If an organisation does not properly control risks, the outcome of an accident often depends on chance. Because the outcome of an accident cannot be accurately predicted, the only way to effectively reduce accidents is by controlling the underlying causes of all the different accident types. Accident Reporting Process – Reporting of Injuries, Diseases & Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) The Process – You have 2 top priorities when you are first notified of an accident. The first is to the injured person to ensure that appropriate medical attention is available. The second priority is then to ensure that the area is made safe to ensure no other persons are injured Accident Investigation – Every employer has a Moral, Legal & Economic obligation to protect the health and safety of employees while at work The Cause of Accidents – During an accident investigation you will be looking for the unsafe acts and the unsafe conditions which contributed to the accident. If you carry out the investigation effectively, then you will find the root cause or causes of the accident Facts to be Collated – When you conduct an accident investigation you should be seeking to obtain information on unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, immediate failures and latent failures. To find out these various elements of the accident you need to ask the questions who, where, when, and what, which will give you details of the event Reaching Conclusion – Identifying all the failure modes, satisfy all the answers to what, where, why, who etc., and thus identify all the causes of the accident Review of Session – Creating an action plan to embed learning. Barista Skills teaches the essential practical skills needed behind the espresso bar, such as how to set your grinder, make espresso, foam and texture milk for cappuccinos, and create latte art, as well as an exploration of health and safety issues, customer service protocols, and basic business practices. The Barista Skills Foundation course allows learners to gain an introductory understanding of the coffee itself and foundational skills required to set a grinder, make espressos, foam and texture milk and latte art techniques per SCA quality standards while implementing health and safety practices and customer service. Practical learning objectives and activities prepare the learner to conduct key foundational tasks of a barista. A written exam tests theoretical knowledge based on Foundation course learning objectives.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. This will highlight early on if any important areas need to be covered in more detail for the students (11.00 - 1200) - Break for lunch - Practical session commences - (12.30 - 1800) - and in total on average we have scope for one model per 30 minutes on both of the Dermal filler days, so that’s a potential for 10 in total for a class size of maximum 4, which will give good hands on experience, as the way we train is to allow several people the opportunity to be involved with each patient - e.g. splitting into the phases of treatment, which allows the trainees to understand the concept of the treatment process. That would be - consultation, consent, marking up, readying equipment, performing the injection, providing advice and aftercare. DAY THREE AND FOUR BOTOX FOUNDATION COURSE Day three Arrive and coffees (10.00) introduction and expectations (10.00 – 10.30) Structure of the training (10.30 – 11.00) Formal written examination covering key areas of THEORY for Botox Application: Anatomy, Physiology, Products and Complications. This will highlight early on if any important areas need to be covered in more detail for the students (11.00 - 1200) - Break for lunch - Practical session commences - (12.30 - 1800) - and in total on average we have one model per 30 minutes on both the botox and days, so that’s a potential of 10 in total for a class size of 4, which will give good hands on experience, as the way we train is to allow several people the opportunity to be involved with each patient - e.g. splitting into the phases of treatment, which allows the trainees to understand the concept of the treatment process. That would be - consultation, consent, marking up, readying equipment, performing the injection, providing advice and aftercare. Day four Observed Treatment Process Examination The participants will be tested on the following key facets of safe practical care: Consultation process - rapport and understanding what the client wants Safe consent Marking and photographs Technical skill of injection Atercare provision and safety netting (eg if this happens do this / call me) 1 model will be provided for Botulinum (3 area) treatment and 1 - 2 clients for filler to ensure that each of the key anatomical areas covered are observed. Morning = Botulinum (0900 - 1230) Afternoon = Botulinum and Option Dermal fillers (1330 - 1630) Conclusion Candidates given session and refreshments and discussion regarding Case Studies and further support. (1700 - 1800)
