Eco Glitter fun was born from two fun-loving party animals, whose mission is to bring responsible sparkles and plastic pollution awareness to the world. We sell biodegradable glitter pots and sets online, via retailers and we partner with brands, events, and influencers - all in aid of spreading the 'reduce plastic' message. Supporting ocean & LGBTQ+ charities 1% of our website sales goes to Ocean Generation, an inclusive global movement  that exists to restore a sustainable relationship between humanity and the Ocean. They see a world where the Ocean is freed from human threats within a generation. In 2018, Sophie created the Eco Glitter Fun Glitter Artist Training course and has taught over 100 people in person and dozens globally via her unique "Learn to be a glitter artist course" . I founded Mind Tools for Kids as I wanted to create a safe, accessible space for parents and their children to get the help, support and expertise they need. Every child deserves happiness, confidence and self-belief. The tools and strategies are simple, fun, easy to learn and more importantly they work! I love to see the transformation in the families I work with. I have won awards for my work, supported the world-renowned Paul McKenna and have made it my mission to continually learn, challenge and develop myself. I am a qualified NLP Trainer and Coach. I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. I've always had a love for paper products - buying a new diary was the hightlight of my school year and scraps of wrapping paper, sticker sheets, and vicotorian die cuts were treasured in old shoeboxes to reuse some day. I've always been drawn to kitschy imagery, glittery ephemera and colourful, quirky illustrations - looking back at my younger self, I can totally see why I do what I now do! After years of working in the corporate environment I decided to chase my bigger dream - running gooseglitters fulltime and show the world what beauty we can find in those old, vintage papers. It has become my mission to save as many secondhand books as I possibly can so you can often find me wondering around carboot sales and flea markets. Making new art from these old, used, sometimes ripped and stained, scribbled on, gorgeous papers makes me truly happy. Reusing and repurposing what is already with us and celebrating the life these books have lived, the conversations they've been part off, the households they've lived in: I seriously believe they need to be seen again. What makes me almost happier than creating collages myself is introducing others to this beautiful craft - have a look on my workshop page for more information.
