The School offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Drama, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Acro Tec, a form of gymnastic dance movement. All Classes are held at the Queensbury Methodist Church Hall, Beverley Drive, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 5ND Currently, the syllabi of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) are studied in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre and Jazz. Students are coached for examinations from Pre-primary to Advanced level and are also given the opportunity for free expression and improvisation. The LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) syllabus is followed in the drama section. BSPA is a registered LAMDA examinations centre so we are now able to hold the exams at our school. During their time at the school, Students are given the opportunity to take part in School Shows, Boot Camps, Summer Schools, Theatre trips and events such as the London New Year’s Day Parade. The Beverley School of Dancing was founded in January 1961, offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Ballroom, to boys and girls from 3 years upwards. In 1999, the school changed its name to the Beverley School of Performing Arts, with Drama and Jazz classes being added to the curriculum. In 2009, due to popular demand, singing and street dance were added to compliment the full range of performing arts. In 2021, the school celebrated it’s 60th Anniversary. A memory book was presented to the founder Miss Pear, a Virtual Show was performed and a party with invited guests was held at the Queensbury Methodist Church Hall, where the School has held classes since 1961. 2022 promises to be yet another ground breaking year for the school, with student numbers increasing and exciting new classes being introduced.

ClayKilnCraft is an independent educational and training pottery set in the heart of Crystal Palace, South East London. Started in 2014 by ceramic artist Aliya Rashid giving wheel lessons in her studio for beginners, the company has evolved into a thriving creative space teaching people of all abilities to throw, handbuild and explore their inner artist while improving and building on their skills. After graduating in Ceramics at Camberwell College of Art with a first class honours degree, Aliya fell into teaching by accident after she was recommended by a friend to teach pottery at a centre 
for special needs adults in London. ‘It was a very challenging, but rewarding experience. I came away from that summer project completely humbled. I knew I wanted to do more. ‘It started small, with monthly lessons. When my students wanted more I found space in a basement converted toilet! And yes, it was as grim as it sounds. When it rained the smell was… very pungent! ‘I was thrilled to find the shop I’m in now. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get it to this stage. It’s all been done with sheer hard work, doing two jobs to finance everything. This is an independent studio and I’m determined it should stay that way. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and supportive whatever my students aims are. The studio is looking fantastic and the facilities improve on a weekly basis. ‘As well as core courses and classes for beginners and intermediates, we now offer open access to people of all abilities. The studio helps people to develop at their own pace to make what interests them whether they are hobby potters and just want to relax after a hard days work or they are serious potters looking to sell or exhibit their work. I have over 20 years' experience (BSC (Hons) Sociology & Communication Studies) regarding intervention and prevention of vulnerable families in the UK. I trained as a Domestic Violence Crisis Counselor in New York and then progressed to train in London as a qualified mediator. I quickly became involved in community development; running large outreach programmes entitled "Life's Better Together". This included homework and art clubs, summer sports camps in local schools with volunteers and in partnership with Wandsworth Teenage Pregnancy Unit to provide short, sharp, intensive training for teenage mothers. I then moved into the youth offending world, coordinating Youth Inclusion Projects (YIP) with large staff teams providing outreach services to excluded young people and then strategic and operational co-ordination of Lambeth Youth Council.

I started commuting to work in Camden by bicycle in 2011 having not cycled for over 25 years. I enjoyed it so much, I soon joined a local cycle club. The Blue Cycle Training business, based in Enfield, started in 2015 in partnership with a local Bike shop after I taught my 2 children to ride bicycles for the first time. The business has grown from doing 3 or 4 Learn to Ride A Bicycle sessions a month to over 100 a month in the spring and summer months. The Learn to Ride a Bike lessons are normally 1 to 1 but groups sessions with more than 3 children or adults can be arranged with additional instructors. 90% of our customers are riding after their first lesson and often come back for a 2nd lesson to further practice their bike handling skills. The fleet of bicycles available for my lessons have increased to over 70 . These range from Balance bikes and pedal bikes for children as well as a few bikes for Adults. I use Frog bicycles for my lessons as these are some of the lightest bicycles on the market and I have a few that can be hired for a day, week, month or longer. Blue Cycle Training now operates mainly out of Keble School in Winchmore Hill, N21 at the weekends and school holidays though we also have worked in Broxbourne and Barnet. Other cycling activities including balance bikes and cycle skills lessons as well as Park Rides and Learn to Ride a bike on the road lessons. All Instructors are qualified to the National Cycling standard, hold DBS certificates , First Aid trained and have the relevant insurance. Customers have travelled from Enfield, Barnet, Hertfordshire, Camden, Harlow, Broxbourne, Kensington, Canvey Island for our Learn to Ride a Bicycle lessons. Blue Cycle Training have also successfully provided Learn to Ride a Bike sessions in schools located in Barnet and Enfield for children in Years 1 to 4.

Nilay Islek was born in Izmir, Turkey. She completed her elementary and high school education in this city. Photography became her interest in her high school years. In 1999, she entered Dokuz Eylül University Fine Art Faculty and graduated with the thesis “Sensual Projections” in 2003. She completed her Master Degree in the same faculty with her thesis “Visual Culture and Social Memory in the Context of Digital Photography Aesthetics” in 2009. Islek started to perform Advertising Photography in 1995 during her education. While she moved up the career ladder, she became a sought instructor and gave lectures in several schools and associations such as Izmir Fen High School and Izmir Association of Photography Art (IFOD). Universiade 2005 Izmir Summer Plays was her first important international event as a member of the editorial board. After that, she has participated in several international events and projects. Her newest project is Izmir- Bremen Photography Artist Residency Program “Elsewhere” between 2017-2018. In the meantime, Nilay Islek started her own atelier, Artlens Visual Culture and Photography, which is a continuing education centre in the field of photography for eight years now. In 2016, Nilay Islek is chosen for the international title of Fujifilm “X-Photographer” as the first woman photographer from Turkey. She’s been given Basic Photography Courses Fujifilm Education Centre in Izmir as the official instructor of Fujifilm. She worked as a lecturer at Izmir Economy University between 2015-2018. On the other hand, her academic career is going on at the Ege University Faculty of Communication, Radio, Television and Cinema PhD program. She lives and continues her life of art in London. Masters of Ballet Academy is a London based Vocational Ballet School, offering classical ballet training for students from 4 to 18 years old, out of academic school hours. Masters of Ballet Academy is one of the only schools in the UK to offer the Vaganova Method of training. We hold different levels of classes, from young children’s classes to Pre-Professional level. All tuition follows 'The Vaganova Method' and each student will be placed in the class most appropriate to his/her ability. We offer Vocational Training after academic school hours. In2scienceUK was founded in 2010 by Dr. Rebecca McKelvey, who aimed to provide young people from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds an opportunity to gain practical insight into the STEM sector as well as the knowledge and confidence to progress to university. Each year In2scienceUK receives over 2,000 student applications and gives nearly 500 students the opportunity to take part in life-changing STEM placement opportunities, working alongside researchers and industry professionals to get hands-on STEM experience over the summer. To date, 75% of participants progress onto STEM degrees. This is something we are proud of, as we are not a gifted and talented programme and aim to take students of all levels studying STEM subjects.
