Welcome to the Fetal Medicine Foundation The Fetal Medicine Foundation is a Registered Charity that aims to improve the health of pregnant women and their babies through research and training in fetal medicine. The Foundation, with the support of an international group of experts, has introduced an educational programme both for healthcare professionals and parents and a series of certificates of competence in different aspects of fetal medicine. In the last 20 years, The Foundation has supported research and training in the following areas through grants to a total of more than £23 million: Early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities Screening for chromosomal defects Development of safer techniques for prenatal diagnosis Intrauterine fetal surgery Prediction and prevention of preeclampsia Prediction and prevention of preterm birth Prediction and prevention of stillbirth Prediction and management of fetal growth restriction Problems of multiple pregnancies In 2016/2017, the Fetal Medicine Foundation made a donation of £22 million to King’s College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for investment in the Trust's Fetal Medicine services. Skills4Reform is a Social Enterprise and our aim is to provide employability skills training, support and guidance to prisoners and ex-offenders of any age. We work with prisons to identify individuals due to be released within 3 months who genuinely wish to change and work. Upon completion of the programme we help them find meaningful employment or apprenticeship placements, through our partners and networks. Our objective is to reduce re-offending, rebuild lives and rebuild communities and we do this by adopting the following core principles: Building confidence Empowerment & Accountability Support through mentoring Training With high unemployment rates in the UK, the statistics for ex-offenders finding employment are bleak. According to government figures, 46% of adult prisoners re-offend within a year of release, costing UK taxpayers £13bn a year. Skills4Reform has started to establish and build itself nationally with a network of supporters with its roots based at HMP Thameside, London operated by Serco Group Plc. Skilled facilitators deliver structured sessions and over the last three years Skills4Reform have: Developed and designed a programme which covers a number of topics such as: - Building Confidence - Communication Skills - CV & Interview skills - Presentation & Networking Skills - Money Skills

Nick has 30 year's experience as a meditator, including 7 years as a Buddhist monk. He now brings together his monastic training with secular practices that allow everyone to benefit from this ancient wisdom of how to be happy through coaching people 1-1 to be the most powerful and creative expression of their life energy, as well as going into companies to run sessions that support mental health, emotional intelligence and creativeness. As well as his monastic training Nick has studied to lead the 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course (that is recognised as a valuable treatment option for depression), Trauma release work and self-care meditations that boost self-empathy. Through this combination of skills Nick has supported many people over the last 13 years to find a happier and more fulfilling life as they take part in his courses and personal tuition. Nick also leads a meditation group for gay men that is now in its 13th year and meets every Monday in central London supporting the mental health and well being of the gay community and can bring this into companies for their LGBTQ+ networks.

Obsidian produces plays from a world-wide canon focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on the works of highly acclaimed Black playwrights. Obsidian provides artistic support, promoting the development of work by Black theatre makers and offering training opportunities through mentoring and apprenticeship programs for emerging Black artists. Obsidian Theatre Company was born out of a passionate sense of artistic responsibility – a responsibility to bring the Black voice, in its many artistic dialects, to Canada’s cultural forefront. Obsidian encourages Black artists to expand their vision of what they perceive, create and present to a national audience. Obsidian continues to play a prominent role in Canada’s theatrical mosaic by showcasing the work of both emerging and established Black artists. Since its inception, our development programs have led many artists to expand their professional development and create new Canadian works. Through our training programs, we produce plays, develop playwrights and train emerging theatre professionals.

Bright origin nursery provides childcare for children aged three months to 5 years old. Bright origin meets every child’s individual needs considering their age, abilities, and cultural background. We are happy to provide the quality and stimulating care you need for your child, including flexible hours of childcare. OUR OPENING HOURS Bright origin nursery is open from 7:15 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks in the year. We are closed for one week in August, Christmas week, public, Bank holidays and three days a year for Staff training days, usually one training day per term (INSET DAYS). We offer 15 hours or 30 hours of free childcare for three and four years old and some two years old.
