First Aid at Work (RQF) accredited course delivered by Health Care Professionals
This is a one day course for employees in a low risk environment where a qualified first aider is necessary. This course became EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK from October 2009 making it a qualification and not just an attendance.
This is a 2 day course which after completion and a satisfactory assessment, re-qualifies the holder for a further 3 years to act as a first aider in the workplace under HSE (First Aid) regulations 1981. Deligates should hold a current FAW certificate.
This 2-day course offers the requalification of a variety of first aid situations and how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.
There a different first aid procedures depending on where you are and who is involved in a situation, so it is important that you are trained for different scenarios that may occur. This allows you to adapt your approach for any given situation.
