The formation of the Muslim Women’s Collective (MWC) in 2007 was a major step forward for Muslim Women’s organisations in Tower Hamlets. It created a unique grouping of 10 voluntary and community, organisations that engage at grass roots level with all members of the community in Tower Hamlets and in particular with the Muslim population. The Muslim Women’s Collective is an umbrella, non-profit organisation which has ten member organisations, all of which are charities or non-profit community organisations. As an umbrella organisation, the Collective offers funders, employers and member community organisations the opportunity to reach the whole of the community of Tower Hamlets, with one single accountable point of contact. The Muslim Women’s Collective has been operating since 2007, and in April 2010 the Collective became incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. In July it set up a social enterprise to run various projects, and this is Pioneering Women Limited.

At East London Skills for life (ELS) we believe that everybody deserves a chance to live a full and productive life. Our passion is in providing excellent training and widening opportunities for people in the community to enable them reach and exceed their potential. To achieve this we work in partnership with other training and education providers and statutory groups to provide the high quality training, support, encouragement and environment needed for clients to move into gainful employment and to progress with their lifelong learning potential beyond East London Skills.

It was our shared purpose and our combined experience of over 60 years in education and business, that inspired us to set up the social enterprise, Inspiration For All and to develop our Inspiring Partnerships programme. We know how effective the programme can be for inspiring and supporting leaders in challenging schools and also the value partnering with business leaders can bring. Our aim is to work with senior leaders in 1000 challenging schools over 3 years to empower them as leaders, improving outcomes for the most disadvantaged.

The journey started in 2013 with the vision to create a psychologically healthier and safe space for nationals and residents in Qatar to heal, grow, and flourish. The initial idea was to create an integrated psychological well-being focused center in Qatar. After over fifteen years in the corporate world, the systemic gaps that existed were crystal clear, but the road was steeper than expected. It took over six years and the pandemic to turn this around into Flourishing Minds! Flourishing minds is a social enterprise focused on increasing awareness around mental health, improving access to mental health services, advocating an integrated and whole system approach to health care and well-being, and promoting a psychologically healthy and safe workplace. With a foundation built on safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment; Flourishing Minds strives to engage with individuals, families, communities, and organizations – to motivate, inspire, nurture, develop, and sustain healing and growth. SAY is a youth-focused social enterprise based in London. We specialise in developing innovative, interactive and effective educational workshops and employability training Working with other youth organisations, educational institutions and employers, we design and deliver educational programmes that aid the progression of young people. Our workshops can be delivered as single sessions or extended programmes. We also help young people into different types of work and apprenticeships through our independent 1-2-1 advice. We have a particular focus of engaging with young people from NEET (not in education, employment or training) and BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) backgrounds. Our guidance and support enhances the chances for young people and inspires them to live fulfilling lives while successfully growing in the real world. With our network and skills, we help organisations run engaging outreach activities. Our work includes addressing the skills shortage in the Engineering and Construction sectors by helping young people enter the industry through our 'Construkt' project

The Richmond Training Hub supports multi professional primary care workforce development and transformation. The Richmond Training Hub supports multi-professional primary and community care workforce development and transformation. Funded primarily via Health Education England (HEE) we do this by co-ordinating training as well as undertaking various pilots and initiatives helping facilitate new ways of working. For example supporting primary care placements for student nurses, pharmacists and other non-medical learners. Additionally the Training Hub is committed to promoting and supporting apprenticeships throughout the health and social care. A key objective across all work-streams is the requirement to boost capacity and capability in primary and community care to enable more care to take place at home and out of hospital. Established in November 2014, the Richmond Training Hub operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise; with all funds invested in workforce development.
