Multi-award winning Pigfoot Theatre tell stories about the climate and ecological crisis, with the least carbon impact possible. An associate company of English Touring Theatre (ETT), our work ‘practises what it preaches’ (The Sunday Times on Pigfoot) and protests within an industry which, in London alone, has a carbon footprint of 50,000 tonnes a year. Our bike-powered family comedy ‘How To Save A Rock’ has toured with ETT to Northern Stage and Theatre By The Lake, with Battersea Arts Centre & Found in Music, and with support from Slung Low to the Albany, Camden People’s Theatre, Poplar Union, the Pound Arts Centre, and more. HOT IN HERE (an energy-generating dance party), co-produced by the Gate Theatre, commissioned and supported by Camden People's Theatre, toured across the UK in Autumn 2022 to venues including Theatre by the Lake, York Theatre Royal, MAST Southampton, the North Wall Arts Centre, the egg Bath, mac Birmingham, ARC Stockton Arts Centre, Nonsuch Studios, and Contact Manchester. Our new show, Hostile Environments, supported by Boundless Theatre’s Accelerator programme, will begin development in 2023. We have also run workshops, delivered sustainability consultancy, and run engagement programmes for organisations including the National Theatre, Southbank Centre, Rambert, HOME Manchester, and Guildhall School of Speech and Drama. The Calibre programme has been run at North East London Foundation Trust every year since 2015. It was the first NHS Foundation Trust to host Calibre and over 50 members of disabled staff have completed the programme. These include doctors, nurses, specialist clinicians and professional staff as well. Not only has Calibre been beneficial to those member of staff, it has also benefited their managers, senior management and also the way in which disability is now understood at NELFT. Calibre is now integral part of the training offer to disabled staff at North East London Foundation Trust. I am a disabled person from a black and minority ethnic background, and an E&D consultant with fifteen years of experience as a trainer and specialist adviser. I spent twelve years as an academic at the Universities of Oxford, York and Surrey and have written seminal works on the experience of BME disabled people and social care. As a trainer, I have run disability and E&D training courses for Public Sector organisations such as the NHS, the Department of Health and Social Care, numerous Local Authorities, Universities and voluntary sector organisations. Since 2013, I have also run the Calibre Leadership Programmes for disabled staff at a number of Universities and NHS Trusts. If NHS foundation trusts like NELFT want to meet the needs of their disabled staff and see the improvements in their experience through the WDES. Then Calibre would be a key vehicle with which to meet their goals. See the NELFT virtual programme here

FIX Trading Community

fix trading community

London

FIX Trading Community™ is the non-profit, industry-driven standards body at the heart of global trading. The organisation is independent and neutral, dedicated to addressing real business and regulatory issues impacting multi-asset trading in global markets through standardisation, delivering operational efficiency, increased transparency, and reduced costs and risks for all market participants. Central to FIX Trading Community’s work is the continuous development and promotion of the FIX family of standards, including the core FIX Protocol messaging language, which has revolutionised the trading environment and has successfully become the way the world trades. As an industry-driven organisation, all FIX Trading Community initiatives are pursued in response to market participant requests. This work is organised through a global network of committees, subcommittees and working groups that attract colleagues, peers and competitors who work together in a collaborative manner, free from commercial conflict, and in a way rarely witnessed in the capital markets to address core industry challenges. These efforts are supported by a small team of resources based in New York, Hong Kong and London. FIX Trading Community was previously known as FIX Protocol Ltd (and this remains its full legal entity name). Since its launch in 1998, the organisation has achieved tremendous success, developing and encouraging adoption of the FIX messaging standard. However, in recent years, whilst the continuous enhancement and promotion of FIX has remained a core goal, the organisation was also successfully leading work exploring how other non-proprietary, free and open standards could effectively support evolving needs. This led to the belief that the existing brand, no longer truly reflected the many ways in which the organisation supports the industry, nor the countless opportunities that actively participating in this vibrant community presents. The result of which was the decision to rebrand the organisation as FIX Trading Community in August 2013.

Due to our location in Soho, centre of the UK media industries, GFCA also offers many opportunities to meet casting directors, directors and producers through regular events; plays, showcases, castings, play-readings and Industry events. The acting philosophy at the studio was developed from that of the original Drama Centre London under Christopher Fettes, Yat Malmgren and Reuven Adiv, who together trained some of the leading UK actors of recent years – from Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Simon Callow, Geraldine James, Frances de la Tour – to Helen McCrory, Anne Marie Duff, Paul Bettany, Tara Fitzgerald, Lambert Wilson, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, Santiago Cabrera, Gwendoline Christie, Ryan Gage and John Simm, to name but a few. Christopher Fettes, founder of Drama Centre London, holds the title of tutor-emeritus for our studio. The teaching process utilises a system of methods within Realism. We are one of the very few centres in the world providing detailed training courses in the extraordinary Laban/Jungian technique of Character Analysis / Movement Psychology developed by Yat Malmgren, to develop people’s psychological understanding both of themselves and the characters they are playing. Our holistic acting education is influenced by Stanislavski, as well as the philosophy of Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and Sanford Meisner, creating actors capable of sophisticated, transformative performance. The Centre has relationships with other similar organisations around the world and offers many exchange programmes. In 2015 we opened our sister centre, GFCA Paris, joining GFCA International bases in other cities such as New York & LA; GFCA Luxembourg, and GFCA Zürich We have substantial expertise in delivering Corporate training both in the UK and abroad. Greenwich Peninsula

CLOD ENSEMBLE create provocative, finely crafted performance and participation projects driven by movement and music. For over 25 years, director Suzy Willson and composer Paul Clark have developed a highly original performance language, in collaboration with dancers, actors, musicians, medics, architects and orchestras. Our core team work from our studios in the Design District on Greenwich Peninsula, and we work with a wide range of freelance artists on each project. Each production has a unique visual identity and distinctive musical score. Highlights include Silver Swan, featuring a choir of seven unaccompanied singers; Under Glass, where performers are contained within glass cases, from a jam jar to a test tube; An Anatomie in Four Quarters in which the audience cut a path through the auditorium of a large theatre and Red Ladies, a chorus of identically dressed women who transform, celebrate and interrupt the familiar streets of a city. Our work is presented in London, across the UK and internationally in theatres, dance houses, galleries and public spaces including Sadler’s Wells, Tate Modern, The Lowry, Wales Millennium Centre, Serralves Museum Porto and Public Theater New York. Our approach to performance making embraces difference and ambiguity, allowing us to work with complex ideas in complex systems. Each of our projects upholds movement, music and visual languages as vital ways of knowing, learning, and communicating. We offer a wide-reaching programme of education and participation projects in schools, higher education institutions and NHS Trusts. These different areas of our work overlap, creating fertile ground for dialogue, debate and collaboration. We offer a rich programme of Talent Development, developing the next generation of music, dance and interdisciplinary artists. Through learning programmes we inspire young people through music and movement in formal education settings and beyond. Performing Medicine is our award-winning, sector-leading initiative, primarily focused on the education and wellbeing of healthcare workers – developing their skills through creative practice so they can build healthier, respectful, caring, creative communities.
