This is extremely personal and important to Sherry because at 19 years old she was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), an inherited condition affecting the red blood cell and various organs in the body, which causes severe pain and hospitalisation. Without treatment, people with SCD may die in childhood but, even with treatment, it can still cause serious or life-threatening problems. Sherry firmly believes that the more people train, the better it is for individuals, families, workplaces, communities, healthcare and the social care sector. As there is a known chain reaction that happens when health or safety incidents strike – it affects everyone! Safe hearts training a registered training provider we run various BLS, ILS, PILS, AED, Medical Emergencies, Infection Control, Health and Safety and Safeguarding Courses to dental and healthcare professionals, businesses and individuals across the UK; providing training solutions that comply with current UK and International legislation.. Established in 2019, Junior Leaders aims to provide young people relevant skills and advice to do well at school, further education, work and life. Founder & Managing Director James Woodley lives in London and is a parent of two secondary school students. James started his career as an Army Officer before working in Financial Services. This can take four forms, depending on the course title and your situation: Fully classroom based Via Zoom or Teams Via a blended learning approach - some training online, or via Zoom/Teams and some in the classroom Fully online All training has been risk assessed and is in line with current best practice and government guidance around infection control and social distancing. In 2014 Jenni (a mum of 3) was sitting in a coffee shop chatting with a friend when her friend’s daughter choked, being an advanced first aider, Jenni knew just what to do. She quickly stepped in and successfully removed the blockage and the little girl recovered perfectly. As well as being a member of The Tutors Association, Sarah has also maintained registration with Ofsted over the last few years to give parents the opportunity to pay via childcare voucher accounts. Children’s access to high quality teaching and learning is the team’s absolute focus. 8 years on and Sarah now works alongside a small team of qualified teachers who deliver high quality teaching to more than 40 children weekly.
