Berkeley Academy is an outstanding academy (Ofsted 2014), situated on Cranford Lane, Heston (TW5 9HQ) in the London Borough of Hounslow with a mission to work with its community and to inspire excellence and community pride. The academy caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11 and has places for 420 full time pupils and 52 part time places in the Nursery. In June 2015, Berkeley appeared in Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools annual reports and was cited as one of the most improved schools in London and across the whole country. Her Majesty's Chief Inspector praised the leadership of the academy at an event in London for 'bringing about a remarkable transformation so that Berkeley is now one of the very best schools in the country'. The academy is likely to be re-inspected in 2022 or 2023.

Nomad Sailing is owned and run by Jim Barden and his sister Lou. We have a practical bases in Gosport and shorebased classrooms in London and the South-East. Nomad was established in 2008, and after obtaining RYA Recognised Training Centre (RTC) status has provided shorebased RYA training courses in various locations in London and the South East. We aim to give sailors and prospective sailors the opportunity to learn and refine all the navigation skills needed on the water, a thorough grounding in the 'rules of the road', detailed knowledge of buoyage, lights and shapes and an understanding of safety at sea, all in the comfort of the classroom. Nomad 1 is Nomad Sailing's first boat. We have spent a great deal of time making her a fabulous training boat and felt she deserved a full page - so please take a look at Nomad 1. In 2018, Menai III joined the fleet, another Sun Fast 37 and fully equipped for training and longer passages. As well as providing scheduled courses throughout the year, Nomad Sailing also delivers bespoke theory training to small groups in homes, offices, clubs and workshops ! In 2019, we also took over the managment of one of the Solent's longest established yacht charter companies - Solent Yacht Charter. Along with a fleet of yachts for bareboat or skippered charter, Solent Yacht Charter can also provide bespoke skippered charters on larger motor cruisers and a Thames Barge!

We believe in empowering the players and use modern methods of coaching, taken from Tennis, Hurling, Baseball, Football, Basketball and applying them to Cricket providing players with multiple tools. Through tactical sessions, the players explore how they might want to use those tools and which is the most appropriate for them at any given time.

Our mission is to provide young people (7-13 years old) with the opportunity to learn about art history in depth via hands-on experiences that bring subjects to life in a fun and engaging manner. Whether your child loves painting and drawing, has a fascination with puzzles and riddles, or has recently started to develop strong views about the world, Vincent and Frida will help to cultivate in them a lifelong curiosity about the art they see around them. Our courses will teach students a number of valuable skills including the ability to closely and carefully study artworks, analyse visual information, draw connections with other sociopolitical topics, question historical beliefs and form their own opinions on a broad range of subjects. The immersive and fun courses will run during school term time, with 9 sessions per term. UPCOMING EVENTS Our classes can be booked as a trial lesson (subject to availability). Trial lessons demonstrate our course structure and allow students and parents alike to experience what makes our teaching methods so compelling and unique. Each taster session will focus on a different topic. Progressions Tutoring was set up in 2014 by Sarah Lee, a primary school teacher and mum to 4 children. Sarah has a BA (Hons) Degree in Primary Education and is Paediatric First Aid trained. As well as being a member of The Tutors Association, Sarah has also maintained registration with Ofsted over the last few years to give parents the opportunity to pay via childcare voucher accounts. Children’s access to high quality teaching and learning is the team’s absolute focus. 8 years on and Sarah now works alongside a small team of qualified teachers who deliver high quality teaching to more than 40 children weekly. Whether they are working on their phonic knowledge in Year 1 or calculating algebraic expressions in Year 5 and 6, each child is delivered a personalised learning program and given the time and attention they need in every session. “When I first began tutoring, my aim was to give every child who walked through my doors, the very best opportunity in being able to learn and reach their full potential through fun, engaging but most importantly, nurturing sessions. Every child was and still is, treated as if they are my own. I knew what I wanted to get from the education system for my own children but being a teacher realised that this wasn’t always achievable for each and every child from a class of 30. I felt that through my tuition, I could change that scenario some-what, I could possibly be the difference that allowed a child to become more confident and ready for new challenges”. I started commuting to work in Camden by bicycle in 2011 having not cycled for over 25 years. I enjoyed it so much, I soon joined a local cycle club. The Blue Cycle Training business, based in Enfield, started in 2015 in partnership with a local Bike shop after I taught my 2 children to ride bicycles for the first time. The business has grown from doing 3 or 4 Learn to Ride A Bicycle sessions a month to over 100 a month in the spring and summer months. The Learn to Ride a Bike lessons are normally 1 to 1 but groups sessions with more than 3 children or adults can be arranged with additional instructors. 90% of our customers are riding after their first lesson and often come back for a 2nd lesson to further practice their bike handling skills. The fleet of bicycles available for my lessons have increased to over 70 . These range from Balance bikes and pedal bikes for children as well as a few bikes for Adults. I use Frog bicycles for my lessons as these are some of the lightest bicycles on the market and I have a few that can be hired for a day, week, month or longer. Blue Cycle Training now operates mainly out of Keble School in Winchmore Hill, N21 at the weekends and school holidays though we also have worked in Broxbourne and Barnet. Other cycling activities including balance bikes and cycle skills lessons as well as Park Rides and Learn to Ride a bike on the road lessons. All Instructors are qualified to the National Cycling standard, hold DBS certificates , First Aid trained and have the relevant insurance. Customers have travelled from Enfield, Barnet, Hertfordshire, Camden, Harlow, Broxbourne, Kensington, Canvey Island for our Learn to Ride a Bicycle lessons. Blue Cycle Training have also successfully provided Learn to Ride a Bike sessions in schools located in Barnet and Enfield for children in Years 1 to 4.
