Who? Where? What? We are engaging with audiences in schools, libraries, youth groups, wellbeing organisations, archives and heritage centres, independent museums and historic houses and places to immerse people in the key moments told by real actors in authentic Elizabethan rooms. We meet our protagonists in their Privy Council chambers, in the Queen’s bedchamber and as they walk through the passageways of historic homes. We will be listening in on their conversations, and arguments, and as they enjoy themselves during the entertainment put on during their journey. We aim to enlighten, embolden and enhance the heritage of this spectacular event in our region in 1578. However, you need to be prepared to complete the tasks and earn yourself the status of one of Walsingham’s Watcher! Putting on a Progress 1578: Pageantry, People and Places will transport people back in time using 360° immersive films to discover how and why, in the summer of 1578, Queen Elizabeth traveled from London through East Anglia to Norwich.

The Primrose School of Dance was established by Kimber Benton in 2010 with a simple mission in mind – to take fine arts to children in the community. As the name suggests, we teach pupils how to dance. But for us, it’s much, much more than that. It’s about giving young people an introduction to the beauty of dance and open conversations through art. It’s about inspiring them, giving them confidence, creating a structure through which they can thrive, and at the end of the course a spotlight under which they can shine. We believe what we deliver is important. That’s why we care about how we deliver it. Our ethos is shared by all of our engaged and energetic instructors. They’re all experienced – with at least two years’ dance teaching and a degree or equivalent dance teaching experience – and passionate about giving youngsters the opportunity to bloom. They’re all trained to teach to the Primrose School of Dance guidelines, ensuring quality and continuity across our service, and follow accredited dance syllabus guidelines when delivering classes. The Forgiveness Project collects and shares stories from both victims/survivors and perpetrators of crime and conflict who have rebuilt their lives following hurt and trauma. The testimonies we collect bear witness to the resilience of the human spirit and act as a powerful antidote to narratives of hate and dehumanisation, presenting alternatives to cycles of conflict, violence, crime and injustice. At the heart of The Forgiveness Project is an understanding that restorative narratives have the power to transform lives; not only supporting people to deal with issues in their own lives, but also building a climate of resilience, hope and empathy.. This idea informs our work across multiple platforms – in publications and educational resources, through the international F Word exhibition, in public conversations, our bespoke storytelling course and our award-winning RESTORE prison programme. The stories of forgiveness on our website demonstrate that forgiveness is first and foremost a personal journey, with no set rules or time limits.

WHICH ORGANISATIONS: Brought heads of private sector organisations, public sector bodies, political leaders and leaders of NGOs together into a collective learning space. Their common goal was the desire to have a positive impact on their organisations, their countries and their region. We have held these across Sub-Saharan Africa as well as within the region of Southern Africa, Asia (drawing people from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Malaysia) and Latin America. WHO WE WORKED WITH: Leaders, influencers and manager from a diverse cross-section of sectors and occupations. WHAT WE DID: Offered established leaders from the public, private and voluntary sectors who are at or near the CEO level, an opportunity to transform what they and their organisations do. This was done using transformational leadership theory and experiential learning techniques to enable cross-cultural conversations and mutual learning. This enabled each individual to draw on new techniques and cross sector experiences to develop their thinking and practice. OUTCOMES: Leaders who lead with a greater sense of themselves, the systems they work in and the wider network of leaders that they can both influence and draw on as a resource. Shifted the way leaders see their responsibility and accountability not only to their organisation but to the wider context in which they work. Created a network of leaders who together are committed to make change.

I've always had a love for paper products - buying a new diary was the hightlight of my school year and scraps of wrapping paper, sticker sheets, and vicotorian die cuts were treasured in old shoeboxes to reuse some day. I've always been drawn to kitschy imagery, glittery ephemera and colourful, quirky illustrations - looking back at my younger self, I can totally see why I do what I now do! After years of working in the corporate environment I decided to chase my bigger dream - running gooseglitters fulltime and show the world what beauty we can find in those old, vintage papers. It has become my mission to save as many secondhand books as I possibly can so you can often find me wondering around carboot sales and flea markets. Making new art from these old, used, sometimes ripped and stained, scribbled on, gorgeous papers makes me truly happy. Reusing and repurposing what is already with us and celebrating the life these books have lived, the conversations they've been part off, the households they've lived in: I seriously believe they need to be seen again. What makes me almost happier than creating collages myself is introducing others to this beautiful craft - have a look on my workshop page for more information.
