I used journaling during the stressful periods in my life – moving countries, moving homes, relationship breakdown. Now I use it for creative thinking, gathering insights, renewing motivation and strengths-finding! I love working with individuals and organisations brimming with ideas, hungry for growth, with creative sparks and love for their work popping from the moment they wake up! And yet, there is something getting in their way. That’s where I come in. I help clients move from block to breakthrough using creative approaches of journaling and coaching. I am creative and enthusiastic – and grounded and practical. In journaling I invoke imagination and play as, often, writing from “I” can be tiring. What is needed to jolt us out of our habitual or negative thinking are creative prompts. I always thought the world didn’t end at the end of my street! Growing up on the tiny island of Guernsey, I felt the pull of the other side, beyond St Peter Port Harbour! Founded in 2013 by Bea Simpson, Spirit In Stirrups Limited (company number 8775514) is a West-London based business dedicated to developing excellent horsemanship and leadership potential in individuals or groups/organisations by providing unique and exceptional learning opportunities through one-to-one coaching, mentoring and Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) workshops & programmes. Bea has since combined her passion for life-long learning and development and working with horses, making Spirit In Stirrups Limited a unique coaching & training provider. Bea draws from a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills gained during careers spanning nearly three decades in various Leadership & Management roles in the public and private sector as well as in the equestrian world. Bea's equestrian experience spans over more than 30 years. Having discovered her passion for all things horses at a very young age, she took her 'hobby' to the professional level by becoming an apprentice jockey at one of Europe's oldest and most prestigious racecourses, Berlin-Hoppegarten, in Germany. There she graduated from Jockey School with distinction and qualified as a Specialist for Horse Keeping, Breeding & Professional Rider in 1991. To broaden her skill set further, Bea went on to work for 18 months at Berlin's Equine Veterinary University as a Veterinary Nurse, gaining invaluable experience and insights in equine health and welfare which have stood her in good stead all throughout her career. Bea continues to develop and broaden her own knowledge and skillset through regularly attending CPD training days. She previously trained with Kelly Marks (Intelligent Horsemanship) and is a committed student of Marijke de Jong's Straightness Training Home Study programme, employing these skills and techniques in her day-to-day work. Our project vision is to create vibrant local, regional and European learning communities, fuelled by Regional Learning Facilitators. We need new organisational concepts and ownership of issues and concerns from the crowd. Our approach lies in analog and digital networking and support structures that take into account the value of informal networks. The key message of the project is: “When we share, we win”. By learning communities, we mean forms of exchange and cooperation organised by ourselves or supported by the community, which ideally are supported by the involvement of education authorities. The Learning Communities deal with solutions to upcoming problems in everyday education, with challenges of the education system at different system levels, with the creation, exchange and further development of teaching materials, etc. The Learning Communities are also involved in the development of new teaching materials and in the development of new teaching methods. As concrete project goals, we see: the training of 24 Regional Learning Community Facilitators at least 12 Regional Learning Communities in 4 European countries the creation of a European cross-border learning community with at least 48 active members The development of a Learning Community Facilitator Curriculum, which will later become a standard KA1 workshop offer. the development of an AI-supported passive networking platform for teachers and school stakeholders to test a further development option for eTwinning that currently relies only on active search functions Our target group is teachers and their reference system. Our aim is to indirectly support the work of the teachers and to facilitate their planning, implementation and follow-up of their lessons by focusing on the principles of cooperation and exchange. Through active networking, but also by pointing out connection possibilities, teachers should no longer have the feeling of being alone in the corridor but embedded in a professional system that also brings them more self-confidence and self-efficacy.

Keeping in view the dire need of true aviation professionals for aviation industry particularly in Pakistan, the Institute of Aviation Studies (IAS) was established in University of Management and Technology (UMT) during Spring-2011 and initially offered 4-year BS Aviation Management (AM) program which gave a new dimension to the aviation education to produced specialized human resource. IAS kept on offering the most fascinating career of students who desire the aviation as a spirit of their dream to learn & teach the adventurous way to sky. It was the beginning of a vision that has produced so far more than 150 alumni who drove innovations in different slots of aviation industry, productively. 2013 was the year when a flight simulator, with a mock-up of aircraft Cessna-172, and Air Traffic Control (ATC) as the training devices were made and set in UMT premises for students of aviation as a part of their BSAM program. These training devices are also utilized for ICAO English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) for pilots of all categories Similarly, a huge demand of qualified & licensed professionals in the field of Aircraft Maintenance in Pakistan and particularly in this region pushed us to launch 4-year BS Aircraft Maintenance Engineer`s Technology (AMET) program in 2014 along with the license course of Part-66 (B1.2 & B3) under an EASA-approved,Part-147, Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) named as AERO-Bildung, GmbH, Germany with hands-on experience on operational aircrafts at an airport in Pakistan. In same year i.e. February, 2014, high officials of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) visited UMT and after assuring ICAO & PCAA required standards, authorized IAS with three certifications as under: Authorization of ground courses for Private Pilot License/Commercial Pilot License/Instrument Rating/Airlines Transport Pilot License.(PPL/CPL/IR/ATPL) Authorization of ground course for Flight Operation Officer/Flight Despatcher. (FOO/FD) IAS,UMT as an English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) Center for all categories of pilots in Pakistan The University of Management and Technology is the only university in Pakistan which has been authorized Institute of Aviation Studies to impart training &ground courses for aviation students of UMT and pilots (PPL/CPL/IR/ATPL) and to act as an examination center for pilots in Pakistan. In the year of 2014, only in UMT, BSAM degree program was value-added by introducing PCAA-approved “Flight Operation Officer/Flight Despatcher” (FOO/FD) Course for every BSAM student of IAS free of cost, enabling them to directly appear before PCAA examination for FOO/FD license. In 2014, Institute of Aviation Studies, UMT became the member of USA-based “University Aviation Association” (An international association of the world`s universities having aviation department in their set-up). In 2015,IAS,UMT held a collaboration simultaneously with four flying clubs in Pakistan for the purpose of hands-on experience on operational aircrafts for the students of BS AMET program as a part of their AMET license of Part-66 (B1.2 & B3). Kept on flying higher & higher, in 2016, IAS of this university launched a 2-year “MSc. Air Transport Management” program with the collaboration of Turkish Aviation Academy,(an IATA approved aviation training academy & subordinate organization of Turkish Airlines) at Istanbul, Turkey. In a bid to further expand education in aviation field, UMT stepped-out of university premises in 2017 and established a sub-campus of IAS at Walton Airport. Lahore under the title of “Walton Aviation Training School” for hands-on experience, trainings & courses for aviation students and all category of pilots in Pakistan. In 2017, an FAA, EASA&PCAA-approved flight simulator, with motion, brought from USA and installed at Walton Aviation Training School, Walton Airport, Lahore first time in Pakistan to provide upto 30hrs log able flying training for pilots i.e. PPL/CPL/IR/ATPL. In 2018, IAS-UMT is the only university in Pakistan, which is approved by INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION (IATA), to join its global training partner network as an IATA AUTHORIZED TRAINING CENTER (ATC) and allocated IATA ATC 3-letter code as "UMT"

We are a pioneering community-led learners' co-operative focused on improving the educational, physical and social well-being of children and families contextualised within family and community empowerment. We are commonly known as uLearn Naturally Learners' Co-operative. We are an umbrella organisation serving collectives with assistance in forming Abundance Centres Member Trusts. We also work to build various kinds of educational infrastructure to support our Member Trusts and the general public. These infrastructure works are mainly related to our Home-School-Knowledge Exchange project and our emerging uLearn Naturally Media Services. In general the objectives of the Trust are to carry out activities which benefit the communities of UK and members of the Trust in regard to community engagement, family directed learning and personal development in the realms of education, well-being and social networking. In particular, our mission is to establish and maintain centres of service with the principles and general intention of bringing about better community engagement, creativity, cross-curricular learning and/or unified ways of coming to know that which specifically enables and enriches the learning of the sciences and maths through the arts, intelligent play and the dissemination of wholistic (nature-centric) pedagogical (learning) practices.
