As an investor who has studied hundreds of companies over my career, I’m a strong believer that culture is the key ingredient in driving success over the long term. In the pursuit of investment excellence, we’ve chosen to do things a little differently – from how we structure our ownership model and investment platform to the way we generate ideas. We combine independent insights across asset classes, skill sets, and investment disciplines because we believe collaboration is a rare, repeatable competitive edge. Portfolio management Our globally integrated investment boutique model brings together nearly 50 independent investment teams across all asset classes, under a single management framework. Investment research Our independent, research-driven teams draw on insights from 900+ investment professionals worldwide, including our global industry, credit, ESG, and macro teams. Sustainable investing We integrate sustainable research and engagement practices across our sustainable investment platform. This includes impact, climate, ESG forefront, and sustainable thematic investing. Investment strategy Our Investment Strategy Group (iStrat) draws on our entire investment platform to conduct research, evaluate portfolios, and implement custom client solutions. Investment science Working alongside our Investment Science Group (iSci), our investment teams leverage data science innovations to improve efficiency, find new investment ideas, and manage risk. Risk management Our investors manage risk by harnessing data-science-powered investment risk tools, a robust risk-management framework, and risk specialists across every asset class.

Angel Community Project

London

The ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) is co-funded with the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union (Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education). ANGEL project is a convergence of ASEAN partner institutions’ responses to the strong need for capacity-building while confronting challenges of environmental degradation. In addition, ANGEL aims to support graduates as well as disadvantaged groups to attain a decent income which is derived from quality employment, and enhanced with entrepreneurial-leadership skills. Another goal is to help improve inclusiveness, because gender and other demographic divides exist and derail wealth creation across the ASEAN nations. The mission of ANGEL is to engender impact and transformation for two major target stakeholders of each partner institution in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. The first target group is the internal stakeholders, namely students, academic and non-academic staff, and top management. Within the context of Southeast Asian institutions, the green entrepreneurial mindset and transformational leadership skills and competencies are still new concepts and less implemented. The second target group of ANGEL are the disadvantaged groups within societies in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. This includes women and minorities, poor income groups in both urban and rural communities as well as people with disabilities (PWD). The Asian partners are supported by universities and institutions from Greece and Cyprus.

Inclusion Expert

inclusion expert

London

Inclusion Expert’s founder, Daniel Sobel, is an internationally respected leader in inclusive education and has advised the DfE, the EU and governments abroad. Daniel is a well-known speaker, writes regularly for publications including Headteacher Update and The Guardian, and is the author of several books including Narrowing the Attainment Gap. Daniel left school with no A Levels and read his first book aged 18. Gradually he fell in love with study and managed to secure a place on a Master’s course in Education Psychology. He went on to take four graduate courses in Psychology and Education, eventually running out of money in the middle of doctoral training. Daniel moved to full time teaching and quickly became a SENCO. Dismayed by how much of the job was pointless meetings and paperwork, he started designing tools to better support his students. During a stint as Assistant Head he continued to develop simple systems to help teachers manage information and maximise the impact of their interventions. Realising that many teachers were struggling with inclusion, that his ideas really worked, and that there was an opportunity to make a difference to children across the country, Daniel left teaching, somewhat hesitantly, to form Inclusion Expert. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly to encompass a team of experienced practitioners who share Daniel’s vision that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, regardless of needs, background or ability.
