We give you the information you need to pass the final City & Guilds examination.
The course material covers the latest amendment of BS7671, and candidates who take the final examination will be enrolled for the City & Guilds 2382-22 qualification – this is the current brown book version. You will need a copy of BS7671 to complete the course and final examination. 
After completing the enrolment process, you will receive access to the online course material within 48 hours and an email from us thanking you for the booking and outlining the process to get the final examination booked.
There is no rush to take the final examination. You have twelve months from enrolment to take this.
We will work together through the book from cover to cover, looking at the areas and regulations you must work through to maximise your chances of passing the final 2382-22 examination. There are guided questions, test your-knowledge exercises, and practice questions for each of the parts of BS7671 designed to reinforce learning, as well as some excellent final mock examinations at the end of the course. 
Tutor support is available should it be needed. It can be completed via email, telephone, or video call. 
The course will also give you an in-depth overview of what to expect on your examination day, helping you thoroughly prepare for either the home examination or a centre examination.
By the end of the course, you will be able to demonstrate that you are fully conversant with the content and structure of the 18th edition wiring regulations BS 7671 and ready to pass the City & Guilds 2382 examination.
You can contact us to arrange your final City & Guilds exam when ready. The quickest and most guaranteed option is to take the exam from home or the workplace. There are three options for taking the final examination:
Home Examination: This option allows you to take the exam from the safety and comfort of your home. It's invigilated directly by City & Guilds using your web camera and microphone. You'll receive your results the same day, and your e-certificate will be emailed to you within five working days.

The curriculum is based on the GDC (General Dental Council) registration requirements for dental nurses. To be eligible to sit your first exam, you have to complete your electronic Record of Experience (eROE). The eROE has to be submitted to your tutor by 31st Jan for March exam, and 31st August for November exam.

Our conference will focus on how museums can become welcoming and accessible spaces that enable all children, young people and families to socialise, relax, play, work and learn.

Against the background of a slow post-Covid recovery and ingrained inequalities of access amongst museum audiences, we will share examples of museum programmes that have successfully welcomed children, young people and families who have historically been excluded. Often these new audiences have found a sense of safety and belonging in their local museums and become less isolated. 
Society 
In an increasingly polarised world where online disinformation proliferates, museums have a vital role in enabling people to build empathy and explore social justice issues. Work in this space helps museums remain relevant to younger audiences and helps them feel more optimistic about the future. 
Careers 
As the number of museum traineeships and apprenticeships are shrinking, so are the routes into a career in heritage. We’ll explore programmes that are opening up the museum workforce and enabling a wider group of young people to find meaningful work and build skills and confidence for future employment.

Gyamfia Osei joined ANA in 2023 as a Literary Agent in the UK department. She was previously an agent at The Good Literary Agency, where she began building her list of authors. Recent successes include a ‘significant’ 6-figure pre-empt for Busayo Matuluko’s YA debut ‘Til Death, a 5-way auction for Quiet Storm by Kimberly Whittam and the shortlisting of Ebinehita Iyere’s Girlhood, Unfiltered at the 2023 British Book Awards. She was also a Bookseller Rising Star in 2024!

At ANA, Gyamfia is focusing on developing the agency’s list of children’s authors, while also representing a bespoke list of commercial adult fiction and narrative non-fiction.

In the Children’s space, Gyamfia would love to find contemporary stories that are full of heart and joy-driven books across all genres (think Clare Weze, Kimberly Whittam and Elle McNicoll). Funny middle-grade and YA horror are currently at the top of her list and she is also keen to read more teen projects (think Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Glow Up Lara Bloom) this year. She is very interested in finding a graphic novel or illustrated project for either MG or YA readers.

In the older fiction space, Gyamfia enjoys well-plotted, fast-paced narratives with authentic characters who lodge themselves in her mind long after she’s finished reading (think Sadie, Verity and Girl A). She’s open to a broad range of genres, but would be particularly keen to see romantasy, cosy crime, contemporary romance and tightly plotted domestic noir. 

Please note that Gyamfia doesn’t consider literary fiction and, in the commercial space, she is not hugely interested in very high fantasy, trauma-focused stories or particularly gruesome horror.

In the non-fiction space, she would be happy to consider commercial narrative non-fiction and cultural history projects (think Brit(ish), It’s Not That Radical and Everything I Know About Love). She is very open when it comes to Children’s non-fiction but would be particularly interested to consider unique cookbooks aimed at young chefs, books exploring mental health/wellness and projects that bring the experiences of marginalised children to the forefront.

Gyamfia would like you to submit a covering letter, 1 page synopsis and the opening three chapters (max 5,000 words). For picture books please send two texts and a covering letter. For non-fiction please supply a cover letter and proposal with up to 5,000 words of your sample text.

In 2021 he became an associate literary agent, representing a growing list of clients across fiction and non-fiction, actively seeking books that are going to make a positive impact in the world in some way, big or small.
