BGAC RECEIVES ACE NPO BGAC secures more than £900,000 funding and Arts Council
England National Portfolio Organisation status. Bernie Grant Arts Centre (BGAC)
has successfully secured £921,000 in funding and status as an Arts Council
England (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) as part of the national
Investment Programme 2023-2026. Commenting on the successful bid, Artistic
Director and CEO, Hannah-Azieb Pool said: “We are delighted to announce that the
Bernie Grant Arts Centre has joined the National Portfolio of Arts Council
England. Our new NPO status will allow us to support even more Black artists to
make exciting, bold and ground-breaking work. “We thank the Arts Council for
their support and are truly excited to get on with our mission of amplifying
voices that wouldn’t otherwise be heard, developing new audiences and providing
valuable career opportunities in the arts for those from underrepresented
backgrounds.”
