A special 5-day acting course including voice work, movement, improvisation and scene work led by the amazing Stuart Laing – it is designed for beginner-to-intermediate actors who might be considering making the leap into training professionally.

One day e-ALS Course. The ALS course is designed for healthcare professionals who would be expected to apply the skills taught as part of their clinical duties.

Join actor & acting coach, Warren Rusher and improve your performance skills at London's best free acting class, Speak The Speech. Speak The Speech is a regular monologue workshop that has been running at Theatre Deli since September 2017, created by Warren as a response to London's lack of affordable acting training. A typical session consists of performers presenting a monologue which is then workshopped to improve the performers' approach to content and character. The aim is not to produce the perfect monologue but to use the monologue format to enhance each performer’s skill set and develop their acting process. We generally manage to work on 5-8 pieces per session. Stretch your skills in the warmest and most welcoming space to try things out: Refresh an audition monologue from your repertoire Try something new with a speech Read a monologue for the first time Perhaps you just want to see how others approach a text. Or maybe you have a casting coming up… There is no pressure to perform, you can just soak up the atmosphere and be part of the experience. Better your skills, learn from watching others, actively help others improve, and make new friends. Open to performers of all experience levels. *Bring a copy of any monologue you wish to present/work on. You will come away with knowledge of philanthropy, funding and development in theatre, associated roles and career paths as well as a range of skills to apply to your own creative journeys, projects and funding endeavours. Some topics covered will include: Why the arts need philanthropy Who becomes a fundraiser, and where it can take you? Who funds theatre and theatres? This class is of a theatrical nature, all singing, all dancing and all acting! WhizzTheatrics is a Musical Theatre and performing arts class, promoting confidence, concentration, communication and coordination. TRIAL BOOKINGS: Of course you are welcome to watch the trial class but following the trial, WhizzDancers are expected to be independent in the room. TERM BOOKINGS: You are welcome to watch the first class but following this your WhizzDancer will be expected to go in the class independently. You will be expected to provide full uniform. Details will be sent following. We have lots of opportunities ahead for your WhizzDancer including exams and shows. Mel's Work Course Outline Mel takes a holistic approach over 4 full days of in-person process, taking students through the step by step process of creating, developing and delivering assured on screen performances using a physical approach to fuse the actor and the role. This allows you to find freedom and life in your screen performance, put to the test as you film throughout the course. Day 1 Mel will look at you, your unique life, your shining eyes on screen and see how you can use your energy within the specifics of the role – so that your work is alive and truthful. You’ll look at the differences between our essential selves and learnt text. (Everyone will have a solo session on-screen with Mel.) Day 2 Filming will continue alongside tips and games on camera. You will work extensively on scenes. Day 3 You’ll look at rehearsal techniques and strategies to build a life for screen including breathing work, improvisation, psychological gestures, physical metaphor and Mel’s Elemental metaphors. (6-8yrs) Jazz and modern is perfect for the kids who just can't stop moving when One Direction and Beyonce come on the telly! Using a range of music from the latest pop songs to great musical theatre songs (old and new!) JazzPops offers a range of dance throughout the term with a dash of some musical games. We also sneak in some dance technique from the ISTD Modern Theatre Syllabus. But don't tell the children that, they are having too much fun!
