Learn to crochet in Surrey - this is an immersive 4 x 2 hour course running on Tuesday evenings in Walton-on-Thames.

Learn how to make really fun and creative bowls from rope and bits of scrap fabric. I will teach you all you need to know and I will supply all you need to get going. It is SO fun and SO versatile! You decide on the shape, size and colours! This is a very practical and hands on class which will see you making stuff in no time. All tools, use of machines and materials are included. The class will finish around 1pm

Painting & 'glazing' means to add colour & patterns to your pottery. Kicking off with a practical demonstration, we will take you on a step-by-step journey of the fundamental ceramic techniques of glazing (surprisingly there are a few). Each step requires practice but you'll be hands-on in no time learning each step of the journey as we go. We have pre-made pots to choose from, inlcuding cups, bowls and planters.  With your newly learned skills, you'll have what it takes to paint pottery and you can collect your finished works a few weeks later. We'll discuss when you can collect at the end of the workshop. All you need to do now is start thinking about your favourite colours and designs!

Module 1: Getting Started In Lightroom - Global Edits In this module we introduce you to Lightroom's most powerful tools - the global edits. We help you understand how to tweak your images to achieve the effects you're after quickly - from adjusting over and under exposure, to correcting white balance in a few different ways, to having a play with my favourite Lightroom tool - the tone curve. Module 2: Targeted Edits - Masks!  Lightroom allows us to apply edits to selected parts of the image through a range of its very powerful, intelligent and manual masks. This means you can now effortlessly select your subject from the photo to adjust them separately with just one click, you can pick only the sky, the subject's eyes or only colour green or any other element and treat them differently to the rest.  Major Takeaways: You will be able to use the full range of masks in lightroom and apply your edits exactly where they are needed, and nowhere else. This includes working with with the new AI powered masks which can detect a person's individual features and allow you to selectively edit them in a few simple steps, as well as those more manual tools, that allow you to literally paint with light and colour on your photographs. Module 3: Creative Editing in Lightroom  This is a brand new module in our course where we take all the tools introduced in Modules 1 and 2 and actually use them to achieve different effects on our photos. 1 DAY T-SHIRT PRINTING WORKSHOP £75.00 The perfect introduction to t-shirt screen printing, our beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some t-shirts with their own design for a special occasion. The sessions will run from 10am – 4pm with a 1 hour break for lunch. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll cover ink mixing and the process of setting up the t-shirt carousel ready for printing. When the screens are dry and colours are chosen everyone will have a go at printing their t-shirts.
