Did you know that following a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a casualty’s chance of survival by 10%?  Sudden cardiac arrest is one the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the British public are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR and defibrillation.  The QA Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an AED safely in emergency situations.  With an estimated 60,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests occurring every year in the UK alone, make sure you are prepared!

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. Offering face to face training, in Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We offer CPD accredited courses, in line with The Resuscitation Council UK’s Guidelines, for the NHS and private candidates. We can provide the training at a time and place that suits you, or at our classroom led training in Central London. We also offer a comprehensive, yet enjoyable, hands-on BLS and AED team building session, providing essential life skills and giving employees the confidence to save a life. This qualification is aimed at those working in an environment where an AED is available.

A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Every second matters and this course will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively. Most importantly, the course will also teach defibrillator operators how to perform effective CPR.

This qualification is suitable for those aged 16 and above who work with, or care for, children.
