This 3-hour course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for adult, child and infant as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes: safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond. Aims To provide the candidate with knowledge of the core skills that require emergency response first aid which also include the latest protocols from the UK resuscitation council guidelines and skills for health pertaining to Adult and Paediatric CPR & Basic life support ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. Offering face to face training, in Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We offer CPD accredited courses, in line with The Resuscitation Council UK’s Guidelines, for the NHS and private candidates. We can provide the training at a time and place that suits you, or at our classroom led training in Central London. We also offer a comprehensive, yet enjoyable, hands-on BLS and AED team building session, providing essential life skills and giving employees the confidence to save a life. The training is fun, and offers a skill that is worth while.

The course covers primary and some secondary skills allowing the flexibility to add extra subjects where needed.

This qualification is aimed at those working in an environment where an AED is available.

A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Every second matters and this course will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively. Most importantly, the course will also teach defibrillator operators how to perform effective CPR.

This qualification is suitable for those aged 16 and above who work with, or care for, children.
