Acroyoga is a physical practice that combines yoga and some acrobatic movements
requiring at least a base and a flyer. At its essence acroyoga cultivates trust,
active participation, mutual support, effective communication, body awareness
and connecting with others through play. Acroyogagenie instructors teach the
main principles of acroyoga while drawing on inspiration from various other
disciplines, such as, contemporary dance movements, ballet and pilates. We focus
on the process of shared inspiration, technical ability and refinement to
produce aesthetically pleasing sequences which evolve into performance standard
pieces.
