Welcome to Evolve Enterprise Established in 2016, Evolve Enterprise offer bespoke support for children from 7-11 who may be at risk of becoming disengaged in mainstream education due to their complex needs and vulnerabilities. We specialise in working with children who struggle to adapt to the demands and expectations of mainstream school and support them and their families through the pathways of assessment, planning and intervention. We offer a therapeutic based alternative provision from our center in Well Lane Primary School (Annex). We aim to to support schools, children and families and, if possible, help them to either re-integrate back to their mainstream school or enable transition into the provision that is most suitable to meet their educational needs at the earliest opportunity. Our therapeutic and nurturing environment is designed to support all our pupils to help them to progress and develop personally, socially and emotionally. We understand the importance to children and their development of being in a mainstream setting and spending time with peers and friends but, unfortunately this is not always possible. Our goal for all children who access the Evolve programme is to support them to integrate back into their chosen pathway while supporting schools, parents and other support services with a more strategic and seamless transition. At Evolve we have a strong sense of responsibility to our children and families and believe that by working in partnership we can help them to achieve so much more. Our vision is for Evolve to be a single point of contact for schools, helping manage the day to day support for each individual and, by promoting consistency and structure through our therapeutic learning, we aim to give them a sense of security and belonging. We believe that by offering this it will give a more complete support package and, by working with schools, help to maximise the best outcomes that help to guide some of the most complex and vulnerable children through key stage 2, and beyond, with purpose and guidance.

Our vision is to improve the future of children everywhere by enhancing learning experiences through activities that place creativity at the heart of curriculum learning. Our Story As Creatives began life in 2008 as a group of six freelance creative practitioners who all felt that the sum of our parts gave us a far greater chance of fulfilling our shared aim to see Creative Learning at the heart of education. With backgrounds across the Creative Industries, including classical acting, illustration, theatre directing and sculpture, we were all determined to keep space in our lives for our individual practices while finding time to work together to design a range of creative learning workshops and programmes, that we could offer to schools and the wider community. The success of this way of working led us very quickly to set up as a limited company and we have never looked back! Twelve years on our mission remains unchanged. We believe more than ever in the power of the arts to transform lives, fuelled by our first-hand experiences. We have expanded to work with a wider group of creative practitioners, all specialists in their fields, and we continue to work together both nationally and internationally to find new and exciting ways to engage children and young people in their learning.

If you’ve met her then you will already know what she is about. In fact, she has probably got you involved in the quest to inspire and engage our young people. Always one for the non-traditional approach Michelle began her career as an apprentice Gas Service Engineer in the early 90's and was quickly identified as one to watch. Moving swiftly through the ranks she swapped her gas van for a BMW and began the challenge of management in a large organisation. Fast forward a few years & the first incarnation of the company, MerseySTEM was born out of the need to take action to provide a translation and engagement service between industry & education that is honest, effective & innovative. As the reputation and geography of 'her patch' grew All About STEM became the natural successor and the new name and vision was launched in 2016. Merseyside and beyond!! Businesses need to attract new talent in a fast paced technological world and schools need to equip our young people for the future at the same pace. But, critically, both are often inundated with information whilst facing their own sectors’ evolving challenges.

Having qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2015, Hannah began her career with a local government organisation, in mainstream schools. This role primarily involved working with those aged five to twenty-five, who presented with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This involves assessing communication skills, making recommendations, delivering therapy, training up staff to deliver interventions and working with the team around the young person (e.g. parents, staff, other professionals) to achieve the best outcomes. Hannah has developed specialist interests in two main areas: hearing impairment and selective mutism. In addition to this, she has tried to combat the ever growing budget cuts by coming up with innovative ways to empower schools in their understanding and ability to work with children with SLCN. A key example of this was the development of the Training Care Pathway, which evaluates the school’s strengths and needs in managing SLCN in the classroom, and then tailors a programme of training to up-skill staff.
