Infrared Thermography is the technique that uses an infrared imaging and measurement camera to “see” and “measure” invisible infrared energy being emitted from an object. Thermal, or infrared energy, is energy is not visible because its wavelength is too long for the sensors in our eyes to detect at temperatures below 525 degree Celsius. It is the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that we perceive as heat. Unlike visible light, in the infrared spectrum everything with a temperature above absolute zero emits infrared electromagnetic energy. Even cold objects such as ice cubes emit infrared radiation. The higher the temperature of the object, the greater the infrared radiation emitted. The Infrared camera converts the radiation into an electrical output to form a two dimensional image and allows us to see levels of energy that our eyes cannot discern! In the industrial/commercial environment, almost everything gets hotter or cooler before it fails, making infrared cameras extremely valuable diagnostic tools with many diverse applications. As industry strives to improve manufacturing efficiencies, manage energy, improve product quality, and enhance worker safety, new applications for infrared cameras continually emerge. Energy loss, especially form structure, has been highlighted in the latest building codes and faulty refractory or insulation in industry adds to the outlay for energy, increasing consumption and raising the cost of products. There is no better inspection techniques that Infrared Thermography to find these thermal anomalies. Thermography is used in so many industries for such a variety of application, it is no wonder that most companies have looked into using this technology in some form. Our Pre-School was opened in September 2013 and extended in 2017 to accommodate 30 hours funding. The building was purpose built and designed to ensure that we provide a happy and nurturing environment where children can learn through play whilst having lots of fun. We treat each child as an individual who has needs that should be met in an atmosphere that celebrates diversity. We will nurture your child’s social and emotional needs. We want children, parents and staff to learn together and for all to develop to their maximum potential. Our aim is to provide the first steps of learning for our youngest children. We want to work in partnership with families to provide high quality education which is fun, creative and motivating. Our website is designed to share as much as we can with you. If you wish to have a look round or require any further information please don’t hesitate to contact us via The Hall School Office. We receive Nursery Education Funding (FEEE) for 3 and 4 year olds. This means that the term after a child is 3 he/she will be entitled to between 15-30 hours free sessions per week for 38 weeks per year. The Pre-School is closed during the school holidays. Our Pre-School is registered and inspected by Ofsted. We are registered to take 60 children at each session and we offer lunch time cover too. We are more than happy to discuss eligibility. Merseyside Polonia is the most recognised Polish not for profit organisation in the Northwest of England. It was established in 2009 as a charitable organisation. The organisation is based in Liverpool but the project and events often involve communities from other boroughs on both sides of the River Mersey. Eat That Frog: The Pareto Principle – The final part of the “Eat that Frog” section looks at how effective we in terms of how we spend our day Prioritising: how do we spend our day? – Participants explore how proactive they are, and what the danger might be in letting a situation rule their time Prioritising: The Priority Matrix – Taking the Rock, Pebbles and Sand methodology further, participants explore what truly is urgent and what is important in our day to day Prioritising: Company Performance Tensions – We may know what our own personal objectives are, however, our business objectives have certain tensions that could impact these. How can we balance these two different objectives to ensure we’re successful day to day? What’s my mindset? – Sometimes we can get in the way of our own successes and plans due to our mindset; utilising Carol Dweck’s work, it is a chance to reflect on our own mindsets when we’re building new work habits.
