We aim to integrate the Montessori ethos with the Early Years Foundation Stage,
we believe by using different approaches and methods, we will provide the child
with secure foundations for later learning and understanding. The principles
which underpin both approaches focus on the child, the learning environment and
the relationships within it in promoting children’s learning and development.
Early experiences affect children’s attitudes to learning and these experiences
create the basis for later learning in school and beyond.
