dock DESIGN started life as T.Delcher Design, founded by cabinetmaker, Tommy Delcher. After honing his skills at the internationally renowned woodworking school Rowden Atelier, Tommy started out helping residents in the Liverpool area improve their homes by creating a wide range of custom-made handcrafted fitted and free-standing furniture using materials like solid wood, birch ply and MDF. In 2022, George Ashton, a long-term collaborator of Tommy’s, became the second half of dock DESIGN. Joining forces means that here at dock, we are able to be even more adventurous on our projects than ever before, continuing to deliver the quality and standards we demand from ourselves. We thrive on helping people see their vision come to life and working with clients to produce unique high-quality furniture designed and crafted specifically to match their needs.

I work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Royal Liverpool University Hospitals and also consult privately at Southport, Liverpool, Manchester, and London. In addition, I teach at the School of Medicine, University of Liverpool. My mission is to provide a quality orthopaedic and spinal opinion with minimal surgical intervention to promote wellness, to relieve suffering and to restore health as humanely as it can be done at the highest value for all concerned. After years of surgical practice, I now specialise in treating people with spine, feet and other musculoskeletal problems without surgical intervention if possible. Though more than 95% of neck and back pain is not serious, the symptoms can worry you. I handle every case of back and neck pain or any other musculoskeletal issue with a detailed consultation and a thorough examination. We believe that friendship and wellbeing are closely connected so our programmes are designed with human and nature connections in mind. All our sessions are completely immersed within our urban woodland. We also cater for school children within the half-term holidays.

At LastAct Academy, we deliver a rounded theatrical training to our students. Each week, over a three hour session, our students attend classes in singing, acting and dancing, working towards fantastic performances at the end of every term. We see each child as an individual and welcome all abilities and experience. Our primary focus is creating a safe and nurturing environment for all to excel. A positive and encouraging forum for learning and growing will always remain our principle directive. A term usually runs for around 12 weeks, based around local school term dates and all students are expected to attend regularly, wearing our LastAct Academy uniform. As an independent education solution provider with the main objective of bridging the gap between vocational education and industry development and employability skills. Pam Education ensures that learners are not only vocationally competent but employment ready. PAM Education officially established its strategic partnership with Tianjin Economics and Trade School (then the Tianjin No. 2 School of Commerce & Tianjin School of Cuisine) to bring authentic Chinese culinary arts training and education onto the global stage. 2017 The partnership has successfully obtained funding from Tianjin Municipal Education Commission under the Lu Ban Workshop Project to establish education and training centre in the UK for Chinese Culinary Arts, to develop fully regulated qualifications and the associated learning resources in English. In May, the first Lu Ban Workshop in Europe was opened at Chichester College (CC). Officials from the Tianjin Education Commission, Senior management from PAM, TES, and CC were participated in the opening ceremony. 2018 In April, the first and only UK fully regulated Level 3 Diploma in Chinese Culinary was approved by PAM Education’s awarding Body - Qualifi and appeared on the Regulated Qualification Framework. In October, PAM Education offered 10 scholarships to prototype the L3 Diploma course with Chichester College Group. Most learners reported to have benefited from the course professionally. 2019 In Early January, PAM-TES collaboration continued to flourish. Witnessed by the senior management team of the Tianjin Food Group, PAM Education and TES signed a MoU to develop a restaurant and international training centre at the iconic building of Cains Brewery in the heart of Liverpool’s vibrant Baltic Triangle. On 31st January, PAM sponsored Chinese Culinary Arts students were given the opportunity of a lifetime when they cooked for Number 10 Downing Street and the Rt Hon Theresa May at the 2019 Chinese New Year Reception. With 150 people attending the event, the students excelled in cooking a variety of canapés alongside four prestigious Chinese master chefs, flown in to help prepare for the event. In February, built on the success, PAM created IACCA, aspired to be the global leader of high quality and authentic Chinese Culinary Arts education and development. In July, the Level 2 Certificate in Chinese Culinary Art was approved In October, the Level 4 Diploma in Chinese Culinary Management was approved In November, Lu Ban Restaurant and Training Centre Liverpool was launched, which have not only brought premium Chinese cuisine and dining experience to Liverpool but also provide the state of art learning venue and work placement opportunities to Chinese culinary lovers. BBC North West and the BBC the One Show have reported on the ground-breaking Chinese cuisine experience that the Lu Ban academy and the IACCA training centre offers. 2020 In January, IACCA was named finalists in the Education Link Awards at the Department for International Trade, North West England Greater China Awards Ceremony. Fun 2 Learn Code offers coding classes and day camps for children and teens in the Austin area to learn the fundamentals of computer programming and video game development. working on a Scratch project We provide two types of learning opportunities for students: group classes and labs. After-school, homeschool and weekend options are available. No prior programming experience is needed for any of our labs and most of our classes. We also host monthly Coding Nights and periodic workshops. Classes Our group classes are instructor-led and cover a specific program or platform for a certain number of weeks. Liverpool Learning Partnership was established in 2012 to bring the “Liverpool family of schools” together to work collaboratively and further the progress made by our learners. We are a registered charity and our aim is to ensure that education is successfully coordinated to support all learners in the city. LLP works with 165 schools including maintained nursery schools, primary schools (including infant and junior settings), secondary schools and special schools. This was me 12 years ago, aged 16 and weighing 15 stone and 8 pounds. I battled with my weight for much of my childhood, averaging a weight gain of a stone a year. This had a significant and negative impact on my emotional wellbeing and I became very creative in my attempts to cover the embarrassment I felt about my physical presentation. Not only was my self- esteem on the floor, so was my confidence. I remember Fridays at school very well, it was the day we had swimming which meant having to expose my physical form in front of my peers which I found humiliating and difficult to deal with. This ended with me trying every trick in the book to avoid swimming including skiving and feigning illness. My weight issues impacted on my passion for golf too, during the summer months I continued to wear a jumper in an effort to hide my body. I tried to lose weight through yo-yo dieting, self-education and slimming pills but nothing seemed to work and I was left feeling de-motivated and with my self-confidence at an all-time low. By the time I reached young adulthood, I had become very frustrated with the way I looked and knew that it was preventing me from reaching my full potential in life and I accepted that I had to make changes. I plucked up the courage to join my local gym and have never looked back. It was hard initially, I felt I was being judged by my size and initially the embarrassment did not leave me. All summer I would be training in the gym doing a mixture of cardio, weights and circuit training, this was in addition to playing several rounds of golf each week. My aim was to stay active all summer and this strategy achieved results; pounds were dropping off each week and my confidence grew as a result, I was more confident with the girls and was able to go swimming without being self- conscious.
