As a child I absolutely hated swimming lessons!! I believe that this is why I
feel it is so important that children enjoy their time in the pool and feel at
ease in the water. Although I came to enrol on the swim teachers course by
chance, in 2006, it is without doubt the best thing I ever did. I take immense
enjoyment from my job; from seeing the joy swimming brings to children and also
in helping them achieve the various awards on the STA International Learn to
Swim Programme. I am a mum of two young boys and therefore spend most of my time
playing football and exploring the local woods and parks!
