In addition to learning the skills and knowledge to deliver safe and professional sound healing sessions for groups and individuals, you will be on a journey of self discovery. The courses are experiential with lots of hands on, group activities. Making our workshop days rich, rewarding and fun! Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of sound healing, we will help you develop your skills as a professional sound practitioner. I have witnessed first hand the impact that Therapeutic Sound Sessions can have on people from all walks of life, in all types of situations and circumstances. There is so much valuable work to be done in the field of Sound Healing and Sound Therapy. The use of Therapeutic Sound has many possible applications. It can be a simple but very powerful way to uplift and empower people in all manner of situations. As a Practitioner, I feel it is so important that we hold space for people in a professional and compassionate way, and that any work is carried out to the highest standards.    With this in mind, I have developed a number of different training courses to help you enhance your skills and take Sound Healing and Sound Therapy to where it can most benefit peoples lives.  Through collaboration, promoting high standards, aiding research projects, working with the health standards organisations and health support groups. I would love to see Sound Therapy take a larger role as a mainstream Complementary Medicine. This is a fundamental aim of The Sound Therapy Company. As well as improving the well-being of individuals by helping you gain a richer understanding of your self and your health; physically, mentally and emotionally. Pam Goodison is a glass artist based in Stocksbridge, Sheffield. Her inspiration comes from many sources as she creates and teaches glass artI first learned the techniques of stained glass in 2008 and I have been hooked ever since! I decided to expand my repertoire and this led me to learn the art of kiln formed glass, or glass fusing. I love the way light shines through coloured glass and the amazing unique pieces that can be created. My inspiration comes from many sources and I am always learning new techniques. In January 2014 I started teaching stained glass from my workshop at home. There is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from helping someone create a beautiful piece of glass art. Some items for sale are listed here but many more are shown on my facebook page. I also undertake commissions so if there is something you have in mind please contact me to discuss.

Thread Republic is an affiliate of Mend Assembly (Totnes, Devon) along with Stitch Department (Ryde, Isle of Wight). Each group takes a local approach, working in our communities to offer alternatives to clothing consumption, use and disposal. Our shared knowledge will enable us to collaborate, explore and implement solutions to address issues of textile waste, lack of basic sewing and mending skills and clothing over-consumption. We are collaborative project bringing together creative practitioners, designer-makers, consultants and workshop leaders with a shared aim to provide goods and services which offer an alternative to the traditional linear lifecycle of our clothing and textiles. We believe in circular solutions. By celebrating the art of making, repair and repurposing we can ensure pieces stay in our lives for longer to be cherished and used frequently. Thread Republic is combining our joint expertise to build a community of like-minded makers, upcyclers, artists, crafters, alteration experts, menders and teachers who want to create and innovate together.

Founder Suzanne AKA Suzie Fairy Enchantica is an educational theatre and well-being specialist with a huge passion for immersive theatre and making magic to help people shine bright! Suzanne started performing in the entertainment industry in the year 2000, started hosting events and themed workshops in 2005 and has produced and directed bespoke events and educational projects for many organisations, attractions and occasions. In 2019, Suzanne became a qualified Mindfulness for Children Coach and a Rainbow Yoga trained children’s & families yoga teacher in preparation for the opening of Enchantica’s Workshop yoga and well-being studio in Harrogate, where she delivers children’s yoga and mindfulness classes with co-star Beatie. From global and nationwide events to intimate celebrations and school workshops, Suzanne and her magical team of talented passionate performers and artists have created and performed a rainbow of magic for all ages to enjoy.

TYRO Studios is a studio / retail space based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, where we host creative workshops and lifestyle events. It is also home to a curated range of gifts & lifestyle goods. At TYRO Studios we run different workshops and events from floral arranging, to modern calligraphy, water colour painting, macrame & much much more. Our spaces are inclusive and safe for all people. All our workshops are run by incredibly talented and passionate tutors and are perfect for beginners. Our tickets are fully inclusive, you will not need to buy anything from us when you arrive; this includes all your materials and refreshments - all you need to provide is enthusiasm. Our workshops are aimed at adults (18+) as we serve alcohol. Our classes are small (6-10 people) to ensure that everyone gets as much direct assistance from our tutors as possible and run from 1.5 hours to 3 hours maximum (please check your specific workshop for timings) We cannot wait to meet and host you!
