The Scottish Attainment Challenge (SAC) is the key Scottish Government policy
designed to deliver improved outcomes for children and young people whose
learning and achievement is most impacted by poverty. It aims to close the
poverty- related attainment gap by ensuring all children and young people have
the right range and amount of support they need to succeed. Attainment Advisors
within our six Regional Improvement Teams lead the delivery of this high profile
programme working collaboratively with colleagues across Education Scotland and
in local authorities and Regional Improvement Collaboratives.
