Live Site Learning CIC is a Community Interest Company which aims to provide a
practical insight to heritage, the craft and skills involved throughout
construction and architecture. To encourage on site learning in underused
buildings and sites. Our aim is educate and encourage the communication of all
roles involved, demystifying the construction process. We aspire to highlight to
others the significance of a building's heritage, giving people an opportunity
to learn the skills to be a part of restoring it. Live Site Learning CIC
provides activities to people from all walks of life, providing as much
knowledge and exposure to the practical elements of construction as desired.
Working in collaboration with local contractors, trainers, schools, colleges,
universities, professional bodies, councils and communities with options of
funding. Allowing the confidence and trust to be reinstated across all
professions and trades, giving opportunity for each role to be explored and
understood. Providing property owners with an opportunity to use of their
building and learn from its restoration over a period of time.
