They will also learn how to edit their photos using professional software packages like Adobe Lightroom and Apple Photos to give their images that extra pop. The important stuff These courses are all bespoke in nature so pricing will vary but we start at £350 for a three-hour course. We will discuss your specific needs before the course and make sure we cover them during the course. We will travel to your place of work so you get the relevant experience in the right environment.

Managing Stress in Challenging Times: In-House Training This course looks at the symptoms and causes of stress and how these affect us emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. You will learn some simple stress-busting techniques that will have a positive influence on your beliefs and behaviors around stress. Basic Life Support Workshop: What will you learn? You have two options: 2-hour workshop — The all-important basics 3-hour workshop — Includes how to use a defibrillator, how to treat someone who’s choking and advice about calling 999 With both options there will be practical demonstrations, role playing and some activities to keep things engaging and interesting. I’m happy to tailor the content. If you’d like me to cover something that isn’t listed below, just ask. During the course, you’ll be trying out your newly-learned techniques with a whole range of equipment, including mannequins. And… this course includes the CPD-accredited Bra Off, Defib On. Did you know that women are less likely than men to survive when a defibrillator is used on them in a medical emergency? Proper pad placement is crucial, and you’ll learn this life-saving skill. Here’s the full course content: The primary survey — Checking the scene, checking response and breathing The recovery position How to resuscitate someone using CPR How to use a defibrillator (includes the CPD-accredited Bra Off, Defib On) At the 3-hour workshop, you ALSO learn: What to do when someone is choking Everything you need to know about first aid kits Information about calling 999 By the end of the workshop, you’ll be as cool as a cucumber, knowledgeable and confident in a medical emergency. Stained Glass Workshop: 2 Days

The one day glass fusing course is designed to give total beginners an introduction to a new skill, and allow more time to create a larger piece of work. At the end of the day, you will have created a glass bowl, wall hanging or large wave (approx 30cm x 30cm). You should also have had some fun! I keep the glass fusing classes small, to make sure it's easy to give everyone as much input as is required. There is a 2m gap between all work-stations, to help maintain social distancing. We also provide visors (or you can wear your own mask), and there is lots & lots of hand sanitiser. All equipment & materials are disinfected before the start of each day. You don't need to bring any materials, as everything required to create your piece of work is provided. The only thing you need to wear are closed shoes (e.g. no sandals), and to bring some lunch. We can also arrange lunch at a small cost, if required. You'll start the day by creating a design - you can bring your own, or we can provide one. You'll learn how to cut the glass & then build up your design which is then fired overnight. You will be able to collect your design the next day, or we can arrange to post it to you (you just need to cover the cost of the postage). Timings: 10am - 4pm Buying as a gift? Just select the most appropriate date and, if that turns out not to be suitable, the recipient can simply reschedule over the phone or by email (we just need 2 weeks' notice).

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional manicure and includes a practical training session and assessment. Gel Polish treatments are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional beauty industry. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nail and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail treatment (up to 3 weeks) than a standard manicure. The GTi Gel Polish course covers how to complete gel polish application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques. The course also covers reception and consultation, contra-indications to treatment and aftercare advice. On completion of the course you will receive two recognised and insurable qualifications.  Includes: 2 Hard copy take home training manuals.
