A number of the more common presenting conditions are covered providing a structured approach to the pathophysiology, initial assessment and management of the acutely ill medical patient.

Aimed for GP reception staff and HCAs, who work face to face booking patients in or HCAs doing the initial triage/observations. Receptionists and HCAs working in the urgent care setting or walk in centres may also find this beneficial as they also book patients in and monitor the waiting room.

Aimed at cardiac professionals to develop their Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT) skills.

Coverage of key areas from the Higher Maths course, exam technique and knowledge consolidation with a range of tutorial and revision exercises using past paper questions Easter Revision Classes During the Easter Revision courses students can expect:​ Re-teaching and revised, in-depth coverage of the most pertinent key areas of SQA National 5 and Higher Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish. A fully qualified and GTCS registered teacher within Saturday School Limited’s SQA Approved Centre. Tutorial style completion of exam standard questions and analysis of the worked solutions by application of the SQA marking instructions. Focus on further developing exam technique, knowledge consolidation and problem solving skills. Subsequent ongoing support online, seven days per week, from expert tutors via a secure, online learning platform. This gives students the opportunity to ask questions, seek support and download from Saturday School Limited’s bank of learning materials all the way through to the final exam. Easter Revision classes are aimed at anyone studying SQA National 5 or Higher Biology, Chemistry, English, Human Biology, Maths, Physics or Spanish.

A series of hourly small group sessions where we look at different aspects of Excel Duration: 1 hr sessions Alternatively, we can do you one-to-one sessions, either via virtual classroom or in person at our training course. These are £30 per hour, or £125 for 5-hour blocks.

A relaxed and informal Blackwork Embroidery course in the lovely setting of a converted 18th Century cotton mill in Warwick Bridge, Carlisle. This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past. We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

This qualification is aimed at those working in an environment where an AED is available.

The half-day glass fusing course is designed to give total beginners an introduction to a new skill...and have some fun! At the end of the 3hrs, you will have created 4 coasters (10cm x 10cm) or fused glass wave (20cm). I keep the glass fusing classes small, to make sure it's easy to give everyone as much input as is required. There is a 2m gap between all work-stations, to help maintain social distancing. We also provide visors (or you can wear your own mask), and there is lots & lots of hand sanitiser. All equipment & materials are disinfected before the start of each day. You don't need to bring any materials, as everything required to design & create the coasters or wave is provided. The only thing you need to wear are closed shoes (e.g. no sandals), and to bring some lunch. We can also arrange lunch at a small cost, if required. You'll start the day by creating a design - you can bring your own, or we can provide a design. You'll learn how to cut the glass & then build up your design which is then fired overnight. You will be able to collect your design the next day, or we can arrange to post it to you (you just need to cover the cost of the postage). Timings: 10am - 1pm Buying as a gift?
