Lorna Brown is a contemporary textile designer and fine art screen printer
living and working in Edinburgh. B.U. designs often have a beautifully complex,
layered patina creating colorful, expressive designs that are transformed
through screen printing and digital processes into home wear, accessories and
artworks. Lorna’s considered, process driven craftsmanship expresses her
mindful, immersive placement printing style. Blessed Unrest prints are an
antidote to mass production and aimed at people looking for something unique and
exclusive. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Lorna was awarded a 1st class
Hons Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Printed Textile Design. She also hold a

facilitated art and design projects for many years in community, FE and HE.
Working with others to expand her practice, find design solutions and research
new processes are important factors in Blessed Unrest's creation process. Lorna
has been involved in many exciting projects and continues to pursue new
connections, support collaborations and undertake commissions. Opening in 2023
INK on MESH- Community Access Print Studio is to become a new exciting teaching
