By comparison, pace setting companies see maintenance as adding value to their assets and employ an integrated, holistic approach to their maintenance activities. This course will help you move towards that pace setting performance. This course is based on an integrated maintenance model that has been used by leading companies and consultants with success and recognised as best practice. Participants will learn the total impact that maintenance can have on a business, identify key elements (and value) of effective maintenance for their own plants to not only reduce costs but also improve performance. The critical types of maintenance will be covered from day-to-day activities to shutdowns and reliability improvement. The course will break down traditional functional boundaries and encourage a holistic approach to maintenance. With an organisation's maintenance process only as good as its weakest link, this course will guide participants through all the key steps of a maintenance process and its supply chain. Participants will understand what is considered a good standard for each step in the maintenance process, how to identify the weakest links and subsequently how they can accelerate their performance improvement. Participants will have the option of gaining a Bronze Level qualification from the Academy of Turnarounds Operations of Maintenance. For those who obtain a pass, they will receive a Pass certificate and for those who achieve the top quartile score, they will receive a Distinction level pass. He then went on to work as a Principal consultant for ABB consulting for 15 years. During this time, he refined some of the established improvement tools including how and when to apply them for maximum impact whilst still continuing to develop and deliver training in support of this. Recent work has included improvements to the Work Order to Work Execution processes of Engineering departments and focused on Reliability, Planning and Scheduling. This ongoing field experience has helped him test and refine specialist training in a number of areas. He has been able to use his own experience to contribute with other maintenance specialists to the Carcharodon models of excellence. Its methodologies are recognised as 'Best of the Best' standards providing the inspiration for two books, projects that have won awards such as the prodigious UK Chemical Industries annual Excellence in Engineering award and form the basis of this training. He was recently awarded a national award as coach of the year. He uses the same skills to ensure that he does not just preach maintenance best practice, he discusses it, explains it and ensures that delegates have a much more personal and flexible experience. This is also the meaning of the scientific name given to the cacao plant Theobroma Cacao (Theo - God, broma - drink). To give the cacao spirit the opportunity to enter the person who takes it, the traditional way is to do it through a specific ceremony. It has been used for millennia by the indigenous peoples of Central America as an essential element in rituals. The Cacao Spirit was considered one of the most important deities in the Mayan cosmovision. In Mexico, the Aztecs considered it so precious that cocoa beans were regarded as coins. Ceremonial cacao is very different from the cacao found in our supermarkets. It is produced by simply cold milling cocoa beans from indigenous plants, after which the beans are lightly roasted and peeled. In this way, the cacao contains all the elements of the fruit in its entirety, including the cacao butter, which in industrial production is immediately separated. Returning to the ceremony, the intake of cacao is a sacred moment to connect with the Divine through a deep inner journey from the heart. Cacao has the property of encouraging a loving opening of the heart, allowing you to listen to the deepest parts of yourself. it is through the Heart that the connection with Heaven, Heart of Heaven, and with Earth, Heart of Earth, takes place. The heart is the seat of love in all traditional cultures, sometimes it is also the seat of some wounds that one receives in life, that is why Cacao has an effect first of all of releasing and releasing the emotions that bring the pains of life, but later it connects the individual with the true and great Heart, seat of infinite, unlimited Love. Mama Cacao also works on our Ancestors, it has the ability to release and heal the suffering that was theirs. The Cacao Ceremony leads to a very profound experience of healing, especially towards the awareness that each person's life is in any case imbued with Pure Love, from the moment of conception to the moment of the present breath. At the age of 14 working as an assistant in a traditional Italian barbershop in New York, but so eager to make his mark on the industry, Sid at 18 began a his career with Vidal Sassoon by training in their Downtown New York salon as a stylist. After successful stints in their New York & Washington D.C salons he rose to Assistant Creative Director. On the back of a decorated career in Sassoon salons, Sid graduated to their academies as an educator teaching both hairdressing & barbering. Sid’s first stop was the Santa Monica Academy also working for television and teaching at international shows as far afield as China After parting ways with Sassoon, Sid pursued an exciting freelance career guesting & teaching in exclusive salons & barbershops. He was also, proudly a member of the hair team, working on the 2005 blockbuster Pride & Prejudice. Building On Success Having trained educators & written curriculums for other academies, Sid felt that 2014 was the correct time to open his very own academy.
