This session will help you cultivate the mindfulness needed to communicate with clarity and calm, bridging linguistic and cultural gaps. Our goal is to create a space where participants from different backgrounds can come together to share and experience the universal power of breath. Join us at the Arts & Spirituality Centre for an embodied-afternoon practice in support of our nervous system.  Through Om Mantra, Asana (posture) & Pranayama (Breathwork) we will help reduce anxiety in the body & encourage a healthy spine. We will complete our practice with a grounding Shavasana (final resting pose) meditation wherein we will honour our connection to the Earth.  Through movement with breath & awareness we will use the body as a tool of embodiment, through which we can find connection with our fabulous self.  This is a safe & sacred space for the LGBTQ community in Gorgie & Edinburgh at large.
